Stopped by for a quick bite and drinks. The bite size burger was a great deal - not too small and very tasty! The spicy honey crispy chicken sandwich was delicious! The cocktails were boozy which was a nice surprise. Very reasonable prices. Can get crowded.
Amazing ice cream with possibly the best texture I have ever had, very large number of options 82 total including vegan ones and generous servings. I had the salt & pepper with pine nuts, burnt sage and raspberry dark chocolate. All three had a smooth velvety texture that felt great and also had the right amount of sweetness. Given the texture, all standard/your favorite flavors can be safely assumed to be amazing. Although the salt & pepper sounds odd, I liked it the most. Raspberry dark chocolate was fully uniform and I didn't like that while burnt sage was really interesting.
I love ice cream and I have been looking for good ice cream places around the town since my favorite gelato place went down due to Covid. Walked by here and finally decided to give a try today. Made a right choice. 88 different flavors to choose from, I tried the strawberry guava. It’s very tart to my liking and it’s dairy free so the texture wasn’t very smooth but that’s cool with me. Unfortunately so sampling at this moment so hopefully next time I can try more flavors when I return.
I tell everyone about this place. On my last trip to New York, I visited this place 3 times. That’s how much I loved it. Obviously it was a priority for me to come back this time! It’s nice to see how they’ve grown and are doing some special offerings like the Rick and Morty stuff. My favorite flavor is the apricot sorbet, which is arguably one of their less inventive flavors, yet it’s the simplicity and freshness that gets me. And I can’t find it anywhere else. Love this place! Staff is super nice.
20220418 Try salted caramel pretzel and vanilla ice cream. It was cold and rainy that day. I finished olio e piu and went straight here. Never thought they even have hamburger!? And I was thinking: what? Is it their special type of ice cream? But no, proper hamburger, maybe try next time.
Really solid ice cream that with a huge selection of flavors. You can actually taste the flavor you get instead of just vanilla ice cream with mix ins. I had a three scoop cup with salted caramel pretzel, s’mores, and oatmeal cookie dough and all were amazing. I added fudge, whipped cream, and cone pieces. Will definitely come back
I’d had this place on my list for years and I think it had been over hyped. I was so excited for the flavours offered but my experience just didn’t hit the mark. We waited over 20 mins to even place our order. Not sure why it was so slow. When we got to the front of the queue, as an ice cream bar that has so much to sell that I want to buy I felt the service was robotic and clinical. I wanted help picking from the huge menu, and the response I had was very much ‘go for what you like’…. But I’ve never tried your ice cream before so how do I know what I’d like! I’m sure that then influenced what I thought of the ice cream once I got it because it tasted extremely average. It didn’t taste homemade and the flavours weren’t particularly complex or nuanced where needed to be to warrant the price.
Great artisanal speciality ice cream shop. Had a peach tea lavender cone and it was absolutely fantastic. I’ve been looking for good ice cream in NYC and this is it. Will have to come back for food.
Came here today after dinner. Not long after we joined the line it started to rain. It rained pretty bad but the line moved extremely slow. I don’t know why but they seemed to keep majority of people outside even if it was raining. And when I finally got in and the the ladies after me wanted to get in, the female worker asked them to wait outside. Come on, people are getting wet. I felt so bad seeing this. People are waiting in the rain outside but you don’t even allow them to get in. It’s not packed inside. And I really don’t understand what takes so long for 6 workers working just to scoop ice cream. Been waiting over 40minutes. The three star is for the ice cream. The pineapple salted egg yolk is delicious but will never come again.
88 flavors and I truly wish I could try them all. I decided on the Salted Caramel Pretzel and it was absolutely amazing. We had somebody with food sensitivities and the staff was very helpful in making sure that they could have something. Very delicious and already thinking of what flavor I want for my next visit.
