Great park, great staff and camp hosts! I have been running Heroes on the Water outings at this park for five years and the staff has gone out of their way to be accommodating for our veteran's events. Most recently I took my family to Mormon to view the 2017 eclipse and it was very busy but the state staff and camp hosts did an amazing job to keep the event organized and traffic flowing. 

My only complaint about the park is that they have installed several new camping sites but have not installed the electric for the last two years. The old part of the park is ALWAYS full on the weekends but the new sites mostly set empty due to lack of power. I hope the state fixes this very soon!

Try not to bypass paying your fees before entering the park. 😬 We drove right in hoping to have a picnic by the water. That is not allowed and you will be ticketed. However, you are able to sit just outside the gates by the first parking lot for free.

Stayed here for the eclipse.  Grounds are well maintained and the campground hosts are very friendly.  I'd give it 5 stars except for the bum who hassled me for money at the seedy gas station in front of the entrance.

Nice park. Would give it 5 stars except for there were some soft spots in the lawn due to gopher tunnels so be careful it you are running. Great space and lots of shade.

Here for the eclipse 2017! Nice park with what seemed to be nice amenities. All the staff were truly amazing, patient, and helpful for us visitors.  Thanks for the kind hospitality.
