I love this place. I discovered about them via Too Good To Go app and after that I go there even if the app is not offering. My Boyfriend love their Garlic Bread and Whole Wheat. He always buy it. I ordered and buy a couple of cakes from them too & they were great. They have reasonable price, friendly service and delicous stuffs.Food: 5/5
Found some childhood memories here, although I only grabbed one bread. My taro & mochi bread was ok. The texture of the bread was soft with a layer of sticky mochi and taro filling. But overall the taro taste was not strong. Would like to visit next time when I miss these Asian-style bread.
I absolutely love this place. The coffee and bread is always fresh. The ladies that work here always make my coffee to perfection, they are also super nice. Nice and peaceful place to have a coffee. The only issue i have is that it can get full and unfortunately there are men that take HOURS to drink their coffee. These men need to be considerate that they are using up seats for people that would like to consume their drinks and bread. There should be a time limit to be sitting and using up the chairs and tables. Also these men can be very loud and sometimes they are cutting their nails, nails flying everywhere, which is completely DISGUSTING. The ladies that work here need to tell these men something because it is not fair for other customers.
Newly renovated local café on a quiet street. The coffee and pastries are freshly made on premises and reasonably priced. But actually what really stands out about this café is the polite service with a smile which is a rarity in Flushing.Food: 5/5

I used to come here a lot for bakeries and cakes but they have greatly disappointed me with their irresponsibility. I ordered a customized cake 2 days ago, paid for it, and provided them with the reference pictures. We set the pick up time at 9 am this morning and the girl taking my order emphasized they would get it done exactly at that time if not 30min earlier for the better taste of the cake. We arrived slightly before 1 pm for cake pick up as they said we could come and pick up at our convenience. We expected the cake to be done and ready for pick up as it had been nearly 4hours from the promised time, but the cake was still not ready. We were told to wait for another 20min, and then another 10min more like a total of 40min for the cake to be finally ready. During the process, the woman at the counter tried to lie about it almost being done and blame on the difficulty of our customization for costing extra time. Let me emphasize, 2 days ago, we thoroughly discussed our options and the sufficient time they needed. It wasn’t until we confronted her after the cake was done that she admitted their mistake of forgetting our order. They mixed up the 9am order and the 1pm order. But again, even so, we got our cake at 1:26pm, so they were still not on time. It was such a waste of our time and ruined the plan and mood of celebration altogether which was literally what the cake was for. This was my friend’s last day in the city, and due to the tardiness of the bakery, we have wasted our time on a day when we should have been touring around the city to celebrate. I came to this bakery because I trusted their punctuality but what they have shown today has significantly disappointing. And to make things more infuriating, the woman at the counter was not even trying to own up their problems and gave the sense of “let me just get through this”. She said they would do better next time, but I don’t think she understands the seriousness of the matter. Completely irresponsible. People’s time matters and it is not my job to be responsible for your forgetfulness. There won’t be a next time!
My experience with this bakery has always been good. Even after I ordered a cake and forgot to tell them about nut and peanut allergies, the staff was very accommodating and concerned and gave me a small piece of cake without nuts for my son for free. I then purchased gift cards from them, it was buy 10 get 2 free for $120. I spent $50 on baked goods for teachers and before purchasing the gift cards, I was reassured if I can use it on purchase of cakes and acknowledged you can't use it to preorder cakes. Today, I walked in and bought a cake for my niece birthday, the staff was very rude and told me I can't use gift cards to pay for the cake and there was fine prints on the gift cards stating this, I checked the back of the card and I didn't see anything. The staff said she's making me an exception this time, which isn't true at all!!! It was a very uncomfortable experience and I will not buy any gift cards going forward and won't be visiting this store in the future. This store manager need to train their staff to be on the same policy, so the customer like myself don't have to feel ashamed to use gift cards! This is not acceptable!
The bread with raisin was very dry not fresh. And the cheesecake did not taste like one.
Hidden gem. Bread is baked fresh. Prices are reasonable
My first visit here was a month ago. I used to go to other bakery stores near main street but I started coming to this store now, about once a week. The staff here is really kind. Their baked goods are tasty and fresh. Sometimes they offer me a bread sample to take home, which is a huge plus.
