It’s Grosse Pointe Farms’ favorite “go-to” spot! Morning Glory Coffee & Pastries boasts everything from torts, cakes and pies from its full-service bakery to delicious soups made fresh each day. A standout for the coffee shop is its liquor license - guests may enjoy specialty coffee drinks, such as Spanish and Irish coffee, wines by the glass and even a “spiked” lemonade and smoothies! Stop in early for that first fresh-brewed “cuppa” with a homemade pastry and come back for a house-made soup for lunch.

Really like this cosy joint, great coffee nice food and dessert options, they have a little cute patio for the warmer months. I gave it 4 stars since some of their baked goods lacks in flavor. That can do better .

This is a pretty little cafe in a great location but the staff isn't very friendly. The coffee is delicious but there are no vegan sweet options.

It's small, but nice. The soups were good. I got a chicken salad sandwich on a huge croissant and it was pretty good too. But I couldn't just get the chicken salad because some of the items like sandwiches and salads are pre-made and packaged. A little more cafeteria style than cafe. Also the area near the front door was a little cold even though we were sitting right next to the fireplace. Still I really like it.

The cake was absolutely delicious however I had no box to put the top of my cake in when they delivered the cake. I would think that that is something that is too important to forget.

Adorable cafe and bakery! I've always had good to great service here... not sure what happened to the other reviewers. Staff is young, maybe a bit inexperienced, but it's always been nice people and quick service when I visit (Saturday mornings). LOVE their croissant sandwiches, along with a coffee and maybe a sweet treat (popovers, beignets!). IMO it's a good value, too - esp given the location. Patio is the cutest spot to enjoy your coffee & newspaper. Great people watching too!
