The encounters with God is very strong. It's not just an everyday church, they preach the meat of the Word and the people there are serious about their walk with God. The place is filled with the Presence of God. The people are curtious and a family/community. I am blessed to be a member of the church.

Very very nice place, but I just couldn’t get into it. I was also annoyed at the fact that they kept taking our money. I mean, it wasnt “taking” money, but it was the way they asked for it that sort of bugged me. Also, it seemed like there was a lot of bragging going on and also some self glorification. Usually you go to conferences to strengthen your faith, but I think it would’ve helped more if I sat on my bed with my guitar and sang some Chris Tomlin songs....3 stars because I know they mean well but I guess it just wanst for me. 🤷🏻‍♂️

The creepiest place ever! I visited for their New Years “prophetic” conference and I wish I never went. When we arrived at the hotel, the receptionist didn’t even greet us. We had to stand in front of him and get his attention. There was no hospitality at all! No “welcome to morning star” nothing. Then the rooms were the quality of a disgusting motel. So dirty looking and uncomfortable. Everyone treated us like we were aliens. We are Italian with dark hair and brown eyes. Perhaps because we looked different than the typical South/North Carolina person we were treated differently. It was like we didn’t exist. Walking through the hallways vistora would not greet us or look at us. I mean I expect this with NYC but the south and in a “Christian” place? I was shocked and completely disappointed. Also those that went to this conference are so prideful about being from the Carolinas. I’m not against state pride but many people would speak about it like someone had told them something negative about their state. There was no need. It’s boring nothing to do. Charlotte is also boring. It was a ghost town when we were there. The speaking guests at the conference were nothing special. It was the same message that was broadcast inn tv. It was the longest days that we were there and I hated it! I was so glad to get back to my state where people are normal and it’s a cultural diverse place where you’re not shocked when someone looks different from you. This place grossed me out! And Joyner is a part of a mason secret society, which I do not agree with. I wouldn’t waste money or time at this place. I’m sure there are so many skeletons in their closet.

The best Hotel around. Came here for our Church retreat and they gave us the best prices ever! Nice service, I’m definitely coming back!!

I Do Not HATE them. Yet OPPOSED for Great Lack of Compassion.. This IS NOT the church to go to if you have REAL LIFE ISSUES!!!. If you want to spin, twirl, dance, sing, get a great prophetic message its perfect. But if you are a real person, Or a Christian going through rough time, and NEED the body of Christ to help.(not talking about handouts, but justifiable HELP) NOPE. Not at Morningstar☆☆☆ You will be left out in the Cold AND go Hungry, viewed as Lesser, AND Forgotton about. I seen it with my own EYES!!!! A true reality check. If you are a Christian and really Pray, the LORD will help you. But Do NOT count on them helping you, if THEIR interests are not involved. Maybe what I kept witnessing happening to ppl was bad staff representing the ministry? But, was too redundant, saw was part of that mindset there. Highly Disappointing. Many on staff, myself & random others encountered have serious issues, yet pass the checkmarks to be on staff. If you need help in your life. Don't mention it to them. Will easily pray, but will send you away Empty. To barely. That's it. They treat the foreign visitors much better, ESPECIALLY if they have received a gift shoebox from them in the past. Highly Disappointing anointed MINISTRY. #Whoa_smh Sooo #Suprised Hope helps you navigate them if you visit.
