I am a Motel 6 kinda guy, but I do object to the fake hardwood floors that Motel 6 seems to be installing everywhere.  Carpets are much warmer and friendlier, even if you have to change every few years.  
Three comments about your particular unit:
1)  Internet was totally worthless.  Simply was not working in room 105.  I had to do some work of in the nearby McDonald's using their wifi.
2)  You had actual packaged coffee in the room.... but no coffee pot in which to make it.  Looks like the start of a good idea that didn't cross the finish line!
3)  The saving grace was that you had a working iron and ironing board.  First time I had seen this in a Motel 6 so a big congratulations there!

It was a great room. Everything that we needed was there and we asked for directions to some places and we were explained where they were at. The location was great. Our room was nice and clean. Had a nice staff. When we come back down there again we will be staying there again.

The stay during post hurricane Irma was excellent.
Two things to comment on. 
The wood floors needed to be mopped more. Walking barefoot on the floors left the bottom of your feet BLACK.
THE MOST IMPORTANT THING.......your WIFI only had 1 megabyte per second of speed. That was and is very poor. What made it worse is that you charge $2.99 per day for this. That takes real guts to charge for this.

In the past I have always had great experiences staying at Motel 6, good Motel good price. So you can imagine my disappointment when I was charged a cancellation fee by Motel 6 when every other hotel waived cancellation fees due to hurricane Irma. I had to evacuate as so many others had to. I had my 83 year old mother and my rescued animals with me. The evacuation made my mother who was already very ill even worse. I couldn't risk moving her again so I canceled my reservation with Motel 6. It is inconceivable to me that Motel 6 offered no compassion and was completely heartless during a crisis. Shame on you Motel 6 shame on you. I will never stay at Motel 6 again and I will be sure to tell everyone my story and how terrible Motel 6 treats their customers.

Nice staff and pool. Room is basic. The ice machine wasn't working. The wood floors in room looked fine, but were very dirty. Need washing. Our feet bottoms were black. A/C works good.
