The location was fabulous could not have asked for a better spot. The room was clean, the housekeeping was very nice gave us everything we needed and offered to clean the next day when it is suppose to be every 2 days. BUT The beds are not comfortable at all!!! U can feel the springs when u sit or lay down. Being out in the beach all day or site seeing for others people want to come back to there room to relax and lay in a comfortable soft bed. ALSO, my A.C broke my last night there they made no accommodations when checking out. I let the lady on duty the night before know she said someone would come no one ever came. I eventually fell asleep from the heat and exhaustion. If I would have managed and owned a hotel and an A.C would have went out on a guest I would have refunded some of the money from the stay back. Having everything working in a hotel room for guests is a must and to keep them coming back and recommending your stay to others sometimes you have to make special accommodations for others. Sleeping in a hot room my last night in corpus was NOT very memorable for me.

Location is easy to get too and short drive to beach and stores. Staff was friendly. Room was cleaning smelling and cool upon arrival. Overall cleanliness of room was good, except for a couple of things. There were some hairs on the sheets. For that reason, I tend to find the need to take my own sheets and pillow case. There was a dental flossing pick stuck on corner of the bath mirror. Mattresses were decent but noisy. Sufficient shelves and places to place your things. Shower and sink water pressure was too long so it took longer to shower and rinse. TV is nice. Lamp lighting is nice. Good size mirrors.

My mom,two daughters and I were recently guests at the Motel 6 location at 845 Lantana St. in Corpus Christi, TX  for the weekend of 7/7/17-7/9/17 for a summer getaway. Upon check in I was greeted very nicely and professional by the desk agent that was there at the time. When I went to my room I soon noticed that the sheet covers that covered the beds were covered with cigarette burns and stains. I went back down to the front desk to notify the young lady of this issue and I let her know that I would be going to the beach and when I return back to the motel I would just come back and pick up the bed covers front her. After leaving for about 4 hours and returning back to my room from the beach I went directly to my room to shower and I was going to lay in the bed until I noticed that the fitted sheets on one of the beds were filthy. The sheets were stained with pen marks, red stains, dark stains, and I could also see dirt as if the sheets had not been changed from the previous guest. I went back to the front office and told the young lady that was working the night shift and she stated that she could not do anything because she wasn't left with any extra sheets. She did have me some additional covers for the bed since the others were covered with cigarette burns. She called her manager(Lori Carrillo)who was able to tell her how to get extra sheets so that I could get another set of sheets. When I returned to my room my mom and I begin to change the sheets and I could not believe the condition of the mattress covers. They were stained all over. By this time it was 9:00 pm at night and I didn't want to go back to the office and deal with this issue any further. On Saturday morning I went down back to the office and spoke with Lori who gave me a refund for Friday and she reassured me that the house keeping manager Mary would clean my room while I was gone. When I returned back after 6 hours the covers had been changed again but the sheet covers were still stained. I was too tired to deal with the issue again. I'm not sure if there is a budgeting issue but the sheets were not good. The overall cleanliness of the motel could have been better and I think it's safe to say that I was extremely unhappy with my most recent stay.

The rooms are still affordable by retail standards. They were clean and presentable. But they lacked so many of what should be standard amenities for any hotel chain. I understand keeping costs down, but more than one wash cloth for a room with double beds...? In room coffee just should be a part of the program for a room that is close to $100 a night.Yes it was provided in small cups in the lobby. The only real "complaint" was there was no water pressure at all when we checked in around 8:00 pm. Was not able to get a shower lack of pressure. In the morning however the water pressure was up enough to get a simple shower. Overall satisfaction in the stay, was disappointing to say the least considering there are several other "National Chain" budget motels that are competitively priced that afford the basics that Motel 6 no longer deems necessary to provide. In the future I would gladly spend $20.00 more for simple basics.

I was very pleased with the extra care they did with my stay there. I requested sheets to be exchanged, extra pillows and an extra blanket. They were very gracious and very prompt. The only thing was that the firm did not work and I could not get a wake up call. Good job.
