Staff VERY nice, though not really able to address customer concerns except to say, "sorry." Room was clean with nice furniture. Appliances worked well. Big thing for me was the wireless. I purposely chose this location due to a combination of price and it supposedly having wireless. Oops! Price was right, but my sense is that when you pay $50-$70 for a motel room, it is supposed to have what is advertised. Like many chains that say they have wireless, this place does not have full coverage of the entire property (i.e. there are only 1 or 2 nodes and they do not provide 100% coverage to all of the rooms). And when you ask for help (i.e. NOT complain -- I was very nice about it and just wanted help getting online), they can't help you because either the young desk staff (in this case probably students at U of Idaho) have not been properly trained to address a lack of wireless in one of the rooms or else are told to apologize and/or offer a lame excuse to customers. When I told the girl at the front desk that I could not get a wireless signal, she said that it "should work" but that she would "check things at her end." BUt she never followed-up on the issue to see if I was able to get a signal later on. They brag that they are the only independently owned inn on the Palouse. Well, I don't think that really means a lot to people who come from out of town. My advice: if you don't need wireless and actually have business in Moscow, you might consider staying here. Again, the staff is pleasant and the rooms are clean with all of the amenities (except wireless). But if you need wireless and are doing business in Pullman (as was I), just pay the extra $10-$20 per night and stay in Pullman. And if you are doing business in Moscow you might still consider staying in Pullman. They have several good properties and are not that much more than what the Palouse Inn charges -- $10-$20 if you can catch the right price with AAA or some other discount (and, some of these properties being reputable national chains who are catering to the academic crowd in Pullman as one would have hoped Palouse Inn is/should be doing in Moscow), you can bet that they will make sure their customers get the wireless that they have paid for.

Could not get televisions work in 2 separate rooms. Heater doesn't even work. Absolutely disgusting. Hot shower was the only positive.

The Room and bathroom were very clean but the beds are miserably hard and the sheets stiff, the water pressure was weak and the water temp fluctuates in the shower. Despite all this ..... Staff were very nice.
