When I booked the hotel I requested 2 double beds on a first floor as I was traveling with my daughter in law and grand child. When we got there the clerk told us I reserved a 1 bed room and that she had nothing else available. I showed her my reservation that I printed off which stated 2 beds first floor. I had even called the hotel directly earlier that day to confirm everything since we would be arriving after 11:00 pm and was told everything was fine. I was very upset as I reserved the room over a week earlier and have this happen at 11:30 with a tired 5 year old child. She then found a double bed room on the second floor that she gave us after telling us she had nothing else. I don't appreciate being lied to when all we want to do is go to bed. This was all very disappointing and unnecessary.

The manager onsite is great and very fair. The rooms are updated and nice for the price. I would stay here again. We had a problem and the Manager was very quick to fix it and offer us a more then fair resolution. Thank you Motel 6 management.

It is with a sad heart that I say goodbye to one of the nicest people, and most helpful Motel 6 employees I have ever met. Katrina, the head housekeeper here at the Motel 6 on Peters Rd in Fort Pierce FL, is leaving to move out of state (coincidentally to Roanoke VA, my hometown). She will be missed here in Fort Pierce; this motel is going to have a tough time filling her shoes. Katrina has been around since I started staying here periodically when work carried me to Fort Pierce last year. She always has a smile and a kind word for everyone. I wish her luck on her journey; and, hope to see her again when I get to head back home for a visit.

I want to emphasize that I like this hotel and I am a repeat customer. The renovations to the rooms are excellent, giving you a clean, comfortable room with everything you need, and nothing to you don't. I will return to this hotel when I am in the area. However, this trip, my sleep was interrupted by housekeeping at 9:53 am, then again at 10:07, and then again at 10:23....when I was not supposed to check out until 12 noon!  Very annoying.  Also, the new door looks, which probably prevent you from locking yourself out, are difficult to close unless you try turning the interior door handle three times. Frustrating!

There was a french fries on floor behind door, hair on bathroom floor, small hole in bed sheet, The WORST water pressure in the shower and the floor made my white socks brown (stained now). The only good thing was the girl who checked me in, Francesse. She had a great smile and personality.  Also seem like people were living at the motel. Felt a little shady.
