Husband and I stayed for a couple of nights to see a show and visit my family. Some of the comments and ratings gave me pause when I made my reservation, but I know that those are not always the best to go by as most people only leave a review if something is wrong and rarely if it goes well. I also stay in other Motel 6's and have read reviews after and said "I don't know where they stayed, but it wasn't like that for me" - so we gave it a shot - it's WONDERFUL. The location is great, I didn't see anything questionable outside, it was well lit. The staff was polite and kind and gave us anything we needed (I need extra pillows). The rooms have been remodeled and it was super clean. We didn't need a fancy room - we just wanted a safe clean place to sleep and stash our clothes. This was exactly what we needed. I would stay there a million times over.

When you go to a hotel of any kind you expect a clean room, clean sheets and a comfy bed. Well my visit warranted only the comfy bed this time around. The night stand had caked on dirt, bathroom door was streaked with something and there was hair in and on all blankets and sheets on the bed. I was given clean sheets and a blanket and that’s good but when you go to a hotel you shouldn’t have to make your own bed. I asked for a full refund and was told she could only do $10 and so I asked about the manager and she stated he would be there in the morning. I went to check out around 8:30 and was told the manager left at 6 but the lady there said she could only give me half of my bill back in refund. That wasn’t acceptable so I had her call the manager who knew about the room issue. She had to use her cell phone to call him because she couldn’t figure out how to use the hotels phone to make the call. The manager authorized a full refund and as with any refund I’m waiting for it to populate in my account. I’ve stayed at this place many of times before the remodel and have never encountered this kind of uncleanliness ever. I will probably not be back again since it was such a hassle.

Horrible room. Upon entering our room we noticed that there were no dressers. Called the front desk and were informed that no rooms have dressers. There was a used bar of soap in the shower, a fork left near the sink, and some crusty food dried onto the comforter. They never once (during our 3 night stay) had housekeeping visit our room- our beds were not made, trash not emptied, and we needed to go to the front desk ourselves to get new towels. The heater/air conditioning unit is loud and constantly runs and shuts off in 1 minute increments. Water pressure in the shower was poor, the tub did not stay plugged, and water temperature fluctuated randomly. Rooms small and cramped. Definitely would not recommend.

Worst hotel I've ever stayed at. No dresser in any room. Found open soap in the shower and a fork by the towel holder. The room was never cleaned and weren't given extra towels. The trash was never emptied. The heating unit was really loud and would run for a minute and then off for a minute so watching t.v. was hard. Water pressure was poor and the temperature would change from too cold, too hot, and just right whenever it wanted. Don't stay here.

Great value for the money. The room was very nice and I love the hardwood floors. Wish the sink had a little stronger water flow but I understand why it is. Enjoyed the stay there. Loved the TV.
