Clean, modern decor. Wood floors and no nasty bed comforters. The bathroom fixtures are old. The shower had great water pressure. Very minimal accommodations. The walls were very thin though. You can hear everything. You'll need ear plugs or white noise for a restful night. For the price and just an over night stay, it was fine.

Staff was pleasant and helpful considering what they had to work with. When I asked for as quiet a room location as possible I was told it would be an additional $10.00 for a different building. I passed on that. Clerk put me in a corner room to try and get quietest location. That was fine. Quiet was not a problem. Room itself was pretty grim. Lighting consisted of two small lights on wall above bed (identical lights on opposite wall but only one worked intermittently). One night stand (first motel I have ever seen that way). One washcloth. No shampoo. No blanket. Only 2 clothes hangars. No table. Exterior door to parking lot on west end of building was damaged so that it could not be locked. Can you say lawsuit? Rate was nearly $70.00. I stayed at Super 8 in San Antonio the night before for $10.00 less in a much nicer room with all the amenities, including hot breakfast, so your room rate was not a good value by comparison.

Oversized bare room. Sheets were old and rough from picked fabric. Mini-fridge was plugged in with a long extension cord.  Only 2 electrical outlets and one in under the night stand. Doors slammed all night long and halls were loud and noisy. Large gap under door where the hall light shined in all night. Overall condition was run downed and old.  One positive was that the AC was cold.

My first impression of the motel was the clean smell when I walked in. That's always a good sign! I was paranoid before I got there because of some of the reviews I read, so I asked to see the room first before I paid. The room was spotless and actually nice looking with the wood floors. I spent 2 nights there no complaints whatsoever. The price was perfect for getting away for the weekend.

Keeping in mind that this hotel is a basic 3 star hotel, we had a good stay. Sure I have stayed at nicer places, but I just didn't want to pay $100 a night for a bed, so this was perfect for our needs. Our room was clean and we were pleasantly surprised how very comfortable the bed and pillows were - seriously comfy! You can tell they tried to upgrade the rooms, but some of the work was cheaply done resulting in the paint coming off the walls and sink. Room came with a fridge and microwave which was great. Room does not come with toiletries other then soap nor does it have a hairdryer. We didn't use the pool or hot tub. The only issue we had was our noisy rude neighbors, but you can get that problem at any hotel. Unfortunately, it is difficult to close the room door quietly. I suggest bringing earplugs! Overall I think we had a great stay for the price.
