Stopped here on one of my trips up and down Route 95 ( Florida to Pennsylvania) Exit 173.  This is about half way. Nice clean motel. The room I was in was renovated. It was freshly painted. Wood type floor no smelly rug. Very clean bathroom. Comfortable bed and pillows. Remove is small with minimal furniture. It is perfect for the traveler who just wants to get a good nights sleep and grab some food. Friendly staff. The cost at the time I went was 43.99. Every other place was double the price. You can't beat it for this price.

Our vehicle broke down across the street so we were stranded.. we were heading back to NY.. it was a Sunday evening and no rent a car places were open.. the positive was when I called Motel 6 the person was super friendly and I was able to get 2 rooms immediately for the 8 of us.. 4 adults 4 kids.... when we arrived the lobby was clean smelled great and the staff was so friendly.... then we opened the door to go down the hallway to our room which was on the first floor.. the smell was terrible almost like a pee and old cigarette smoke smell and these were non smoking rooms... we figured it's one night we will get through it, the price was phenomenal but you get what you pay for I guess.... our room where do I begin? The curtains were stained the window was cracked open and wouldn't shut with ants crawling all over the AC UNIT that didn't work that well... the floor was damp and wet from what I don't know and I don't think I really want to know.. the bed felt more like a box spring and then the bathroom ... oh the mat in the shower had black mold and if I hadn't been so desperate to take a shower I probably wouldn't have... I feared even turning the blankets down so I just slept fully clothed and hoped for the best... they did have coffee in the morning so I guess that was another plus but with powdered creamer , better then nothing right? There are quite a few restaurants around but I was a little hesitant going out at night with the kids ... a lot of shady characters hanging out in the parking lot either sitting on the curb or sitting in the back of there pick up truck drinking some beers... there's a couple hotels across the street that we probably would of been better off at but we didn't see them and weren't familiar with the area... again I must say the staff was amazing and friendly but the owners really need to invest in better cleaning procedures all the way around... but in the end we survived and were able to get a rental Monday morning and are now home safe and sound... would I recommend this place ? Probably not unless you are in a situation as we were in and are just plain desperate and low on cash because Again it was super cheap.. I don't know if all motel 6 are like this but I would hope not... hope this helps anyone looking for a room.. 😉

The price was good,  not a fancy place but extremely clean.  The front desk lady was one of the most polite and courteous people i have met, she gave new meaning to the term SOUTHERN HOSPITALITY.  i highly recommend this hotel and will definitely make it a point to stop there again.

The receptionist was a delight to deal with, both courteous and helpful. She is the only reason I even bothered to respond to survey request. Your hotel has the distinction of being the worst I’ve ever experienced. If it wasn’t late and I hadn’t just drove 9 hours I would have gone anywhere else. Has anyone from management visited this property lately?  The place reeks of a musty, moldy smell that permeates everything including the sheets. It is in deplorable condition from the hall rugs to the disgusting bathroom. Seriously I have no idea why the health department has closed it down. Please if there is anyone left in your company that gives a **** about your customers please visit this dive and fire somebody. I will never stay at a Motel 6 again, ever.

My first room was supposed to be non smoking.  When we opened the room door we were knocked out by the heavy smell of smoke.  They immediately gave us a different room.  The rooms were clean and the staff was wonderful. I would stay here again.
