We specifically asked for an accessible room. Putting in grab bars does not make a room accessible. The toilet was 14" off the floor - ADA standard is 18". That might not seem like a lot of difference to you, but to someone with limited mobility, it is all the difference in the world. Right across the highway was a Home Depot. For a couple hundred dollars, you could buy ADA compliant toilets and have something to be proud of. 

When I asked the desk clerk if there were any accessible rooms with higher toilets, she offered me a different room. When asked if the toilets were higher, she didn't know, she said she just wanted to offer me a choice. She truly didn't care.

Best deal in town!  The room was clean and updated, and the desk was staffed by friendly, attentive people 24/7.  It was easy to come and go frequently due to main road access, and it was two minutes from downtown -- just far enough away to be quiet and feel safe.  A very nice 24 hour restaurant shares the parking lot, and it was frequented by locals -- always a good sign.  You don't need to overspend to get clean, comfortable lodgings.  I have told everyone how good it was.

I felt very comfortable here.  Nice rooms, clean, comfortable bed, Chris grinds the coffee beans and there's coffee and tea 24/7.  She is an excellent person to greet guest and they come to tell her goodbye just as I did on my way back to NM.   I hope she is appreciate by Motel 6. She's a keeper.  The entire staff, housekeepers and front desk were warm and friendly.  Next trip I'm staying here again.

The staff was very friendly ,accommodating and knowledgeable. The room was spotless , the beds were comfortable and the a/c and heat worked well. Really like the laminate flooring compared to carpeting. This is a good three story hotel that is close to restaurants of all types. They offer seniors discounts and my wife and I highly recommend this hotel.    C:

The room was good. Clean and what you'd expect for the price. The main reason we picked the place is because they allow pets...which is great! We stayed here while in the process of moving from California to Washington. The fact that we had a truck full of our possessions heightened our awareness of the foot traffic around the hotel. There was a lot. During the night we checked on our truck and ran into drunk guys hanging out in the parking lot, a couple people without homes, as well as people outside at 3am smoking. Everything ended up fine and not a huge deal. Just something to be aware of if you're traveling with a truck full of your belongings.
