We booked two rooms. They were newly remodeled with mostly clean furnishings, the exception being a line of mold above the tub/shower wall. Rooms were advertised to have a mini-fridge and a microwave. One unit had neither, the other had poorly functioning equipment. The microwave could not pop popcorn, even after bag had been in for 7 minutes. The rate, however, was very reasonable, especially during eclipse travel.

We stayed in Sikeston, Mo, when we went to view the eclipse! The bed was the very best I have ever slept in. Even though we have stayed in motels/hotels that cost less and three times more, no bed has ever been as comfortable. I always take my own pillow but forgot to bring it in from the car! I didn't even miss it! The room was fresh, clean and very nice! Bathroom clean and very neat! I would have liked another blanket to cover my feet and legs just for the weight! I highly recommend this place to stay! The manager was very pleasant and kind!

I brought my dogs on my trip to Michigan from Texas & stayed on my return drive. The room was clean with a non carpeted floor, in case of messes. There was no animal smell, which is greatly appreciated. I did use the mini-fridge for my cold things but I was unable to reconstitute my ice packs since it had no freezer spot. Also one of the beds had a cigarette burn in the sheet. It would also gave been nice to have a small coffee pot to make hot water since I only drink tea. The fridge was plugged into the same socket as multiple other appliances. For safety I would think its best they went to different outlets so as to not overload the single splitter. Considering the nightly rate, $65-after tax in Sikeston-Miner, Missouri (the one I passed in Dallas, Texas showed rooms for $45!) I would have preferred a slightly more accommodating room. But for the 8 total hours I spent in the room, convenience to the highway, clean & accepts my very good puppies I can handle it! Thank you.

The room was very clean, smelled clean when you owned the door. White towels nice and thick, sheets where white and clean, pillows where thick and fluffy even thought I being my own, comforter was clean, a/c worked very well, had small fridge, microwave on top, Tv worked fine. Bed was very comfy had a small table with 2 chairs nothing fancy but was sturdy. Price was right at $60.00. My husband and I pull camper trailers across the US so I've seen the good, bad, ugly and this was a 5 for this level it's not a Hilton but it didn't cost 200.00 either. And the parking accommodated a 3500 truck pulling a 42ft fifth wheel. Actually would accommodate a 18 wheeler in the back of the motel. hope this helps.

I have stayed at many Motel 6s. This was not a Motel 6. The queen beds were not even full sized. I am 5'7" and my feet hung off of the bed. The night stand was a cardboard drawer that would not hold the weight of a lamp. We stayed two nights and the room was not freshened while we were there. I will not stay at this hotel again.
