Admittedly, my expectations are not especially high for a Motel 6. I appreciated that the room I reserved with a single king bed was available, it was reasonably clean, the staff was friendly, the heat worked, laundry facilities were available, and there was adequate parking for my trailer. My stay could have been better if shampoo & conditioner had been provided in the room, if there had been carpet or a rug, and if the floor under the bed had been clean. I was displeased with the heater in that it seemed to heat the room too much, then turn off until it got pretty cold, then over-heat the room again in a constant cycle. I was alternately shivering and swaeting throughout the night. It didn't bother my husband though, so maybe I am more sensitive. Overall, the bed was comfy and we had a place to rest!

Now I wasn't expecting much. It just seemed overpriced for what we received. The place was clean enough and there was plenty of water, soap and toilet paper, but not much else. My wife had to buy a hair dryer because it was the only place we stayed at that didn't have one. The room had an overwhelming smell of rose petals, which I could tolerate, but over-much scent makes me wonder what they are trying to mask. The hardware floor was very pretty, but hard on the knees if you need to crawl on the floor. The walls could use a good coat of paint. The bathroom fixtures are very old. No decor to speak of. It just needs to be updated to be worth what we paid. The next evening we stayed at La Quinta in Logan and for just a few dollars more you get so-so-so much more!

The staff's were so nice. I arrived late like 9pm ish and they were very friendly and welcoming for our visit. I had to do laundry and they gave me change of quarters to any amount I needed. Super kind, place is super clean and comfy. I definately would recommend this place to all my friends. 5 stars, NO DOUBT. Thank you so much.

All the rooms are on the ground level, park in front of your room Mine was #141. Solid surface floors, comfortable bed. The room was clean well kept. There were two negatives, one lack of outlets to plug into and in the morning, there was no hot water. I let the water run for about 5 minutes and the most I could get was lukewarm water. If you happen to be on a budget, this is one of the nicer Motel 6 properties I've stayed at.

I understand this is just a motel with low standards compared to a 4 and 5 star hotel, but the basic needs of cleanliness was not met at all. My career is in the hospitality industry, and I might be judging harshly, but when you go into a room you prepaid to be clean from the previous guests, and having the toilet and shower clearly not even wiped down....it's very disappointing that the staff would not have any pride in their work. My suggestion would be to have a good team, housekeeping and front desk, with clear communication and a desire to treat others the way they would like to be treated. I guarantee, any housekeeper would not want to pay for a hotel room to find that it had not been cleaned from the previous guest. The hotel industry is very difficult and not for everyone. Keep the standards, keep the team you need to run the motel, and keep a listening ear to guests comments/complaints. I want this motel to be the best it can be.
