I enjoy staying here.  It is quiet and I get very good rest.  The people are friendly and try to accommodate you to the best of their ability.  But, there is now a Pumpkin Patch carnival set up right next to the building with horses and other animals that smell.  And the smell of manure is very strong.  And it has a whole bunch of hay stacks around.  My allergies have definitely kicked into high gear.  It is NOT a good smell when you go outside and I'm sure it will be very noisy since I see now they have bouncy houses for children.  I come to this Motel 6 for peace and quiet and relaxation.

Upon booking at this hotel I looked at the reviews and pictures. The reviews weren't the very best, but the pictures and price seemed to have done it justice. Checking in, the gal I spoke to was very unfriendly and hardly spoke any English. I got to my 3rd floor room and could immediately hear each one of my "neighbors". I sat on the bed and didn't move...the beds within those rooms are hard as a rock - very unpleasant. After traveling 1400 miles, I wanted to wash my face in hot water and get ready for the long sleepless night that was ahead of me. The water out of the sink hardly even got lukewarm. Instead, I opted for a shower. Two very small bathroom towels were provided. No thicker towel or mat to place on the floor outside of the tub, and no shampoo, conditioner or body wash was provided, either! I got dressed again, went to the local WalMart to buy such necessities and came back to the hotel to shower. The shower head was clogged with calcium build up and there was absolutely no water pressure. After getting out I noticed there was no hair dryer. I called down to the office to ask and they indeed said, "No, we do not provide hair dryers.". Okay! Crawling into bed ... What do my feet meet? Sand. In the sheets. Needless to say, my stay here was disgusting, uncomfortable, and caused me more grief than it was worth. I have never stayed at a Motel 6 before, but I can guarantee that if each of these chains is run just like the next, I will never recommend! And my family, friends and I travel often! So disappointing!

The rooms were very well appointed in terms of decor. No carpet which is a big plus and it was very spotless and the beds very comfortable. I appreciated the HBO and the fact that despite proximity to freeway it was very quiet. However, for the price point there was no hair dryer (at least make them available at the front desk) and no coffee maker in the room. Or shampoo. Really? No shampoo. If it's a waste issue - have large containers bolted to the shower wall. I understood that there is coffee in the lobby but the motel is far too large to make that convenient. Coffee makers are necessary in the rooms. OR provide continental breakfast at least. There are few restaurants in the immediate vicinity. Unfortunately unless the amenities are improved I would not return.

Easy to find; well cared for. Nice room, very comfortable bed and good bedding and pillows. Appreciate the semi-platform bed that allows a suitcase to be slid underneath to minimize clutter. I also REALLY liked the bath tub with shower, instead of a phone booth sized shower.
Only negative is freeway noise. I'd recommend next upgrade would be new double pane windows.

Motel 6 is an okay place to stay. The rooms are clean , the staff is friendly and their pool is newly remodeled. They get 3 stars from me because their prices are way too high for the amenities you receive. Like coffee only available til 9am and not even a continental breakfast like you get at some cheaper motels. The reason we stayed here is because our dogs stay free and they do have coin laundry available which is helpful. Not a bad place to stay but they could lower their prices
