While the front office staff was very friendly and did what they could to help, the place was terrible. We arrived late at night after several hours of driving and were given smoking rooms although we had not reserved smoking rooms - unacceptable since we had a 1-yr old baby with us. We would have left right then but the town was pretty much booked due to several events that weekend and as mentioned, it was already so late. Once we located our rooms we realized how pointless the "smoking" and "non-smoking" room designations even were because the entire building reeked of smoke - stairwells, hallways, rooms... awful. To top it off, the AC in one room was blasting and clearly had been for quite some time as the room was like an ice box. We tried multiple times to adjust it and it never stopped blowing full blast. So we froze until we finally just switched it to heat. I've stayed in a couple of Motel 6's before and was more than satisfied. But we couldn't check out of this one soon enough and drove another hour to find a new place to stay even though our original intention was to stay put for 2 nights. I'm not one who typically leaves bad reviews, and probably wouldn't have this time - just would have chalked it up to a bad experience and not repeated that mistake. But you sent me 2 e-mails requesting input so I have to be honest.

My dog & I stayed two nights while work was being done at my home. The room was clean & smelled good. The bed was comfortable. The motel staff were very friendly, & helpful. I chose this motel due to the price of the room. Having work done at my home I didn't want to spend a $100 a night on a room. The cost was excellent. They give a senior citizen discount. There is no charges, fees or deposits required for a pet. If I ever need a motel or know someone that does, I will recomment Motel 6 Waco South. My experience there turned a stressful situation into a pleasant situation.

The desk clerk was very professional and courteous. He went out of his way to accommodate my needs and request. The grounds were clean and well kept. I would recommend this motel to anyone seeking a quiet and restful place to stay. I will definitely stay there again!

We were called every morning asking if we wanted the room cleaned, we told them yes but it was never cleaned.  We had 2 adults and 2 children in a room with 2 double beds. We were given 2 wash cloths and 2 towels. We asked for more and never received any.  Housekeeping came one day of the 5 we were there so for 4 days we had to recycle 2 wash cloths and towels between the 4 of us. Housekeeping swept on the day they came but left all the dirt in a pile by the door. Should have stayed at the Franchise Motel 6 instead of Corporate. Will not make that mistake again.

Very clean and quiet.  The room was spotless and the sheets/towels smelled fresh.  Our housekeeper did an outstanding job both mornings!
