Motor Vehicle Division

Pathetic. I'm active military living in VA. First, we have to drive to SC to register the car because it has a VA title, not a SC title. After driving all the way down there, the lady gives us the wrong license plate that does not match the registration. She calls us after we get back to VA and leaves a message, but now they will not answer the phone. 3 days now. Called over 30 times and left a dozen messages. Typical government employees showing why they work at the DMV. Basically, I am screwed on their mix up and waiting for the DMV gods to decide we are worthy for them to fix their own mistake. Still waiting with a car I cant drive.

I really enjoyed my visit here. I live in SC but work in Ga and my license was due to expire. I had prepared myself to stay for at least a few hrs based on the DMV in Charleston, SC. I went in and within 10 minutes my number was called, it was a very short process, I took my pic and was out the door and still made it to Charleston before dark. I definitely loved my experience here. I can't remember the young lady that helped me but she sat very close to where my pic was taken. she was very pleasant individual.
