My brother is buried here. All the time, we deal with theft from his grave. They steal items with his name on it, pull flowers and lights from his jar. The response from the office? "It happens all the time. There's no fences, deal with it or don't decorate his grave." We spent over a thousand dollars to have my brother buried here, and I'm not allowed to decorate his grave without the fear of having my items stolen??? I'm told that I have to deal with it?? If it happens all the time, THEN DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT. YOU KNOW WHAT THE PROBLEM IS, FIX IT. No fences?? Put them in. Extremely disrespectful. Dont bury your loved ones here.
I've tried reaching out to Mount Hope for months to locate the unmarked grave of my grandpa's brother, who died as a child. My family would like to purchase a head stone for him. Apparently, that's not a priority.
Susan at Mt Hope was so very helpful and understanding. My family really appreciated the kindness extended to us while we had to deal with the loss of our loved one.
