Story

Welcome to Mountain Bible Church. We want to express Christ’s love to you with genuine, heartfelt warmth. We’re excited to know you and want to share with you the marvelous ways Gods is working in our church.
We believe that Mountain Bible Church is a unique church. It won’t take you long to discover that this is truly a family, rich in the relationships that matter most.
Growing together, we worship, we serve, we laugh, we cry, we learn, and we reach out to our world with life-transforming truth.
The best part of our church is worship. We are a place where you can celebrate together God’s goodness, mercy, and love through Jesus Christ. We reach out to you, as well. Pastor Marvin Slifer has been our senior pastor since, 1972.

Sunday Services:
Sunday Morning Worship
Services at 8:30 and 10:30

Come join us at one of our two morning services for a time of worship, song, prayer, and giving. Hear wonderful spiritually lifting music and a message straight from God's Word. Share with other Christians as we regroup from our busy schedules and replenish our spirits for the week ahead.

Worship for Kids
9:00am Sunday School
Children are divided into different classrooms according to their age group
10:30am Children's Church
Children are gathered together into one large class allowing them to make more Christian friends

Worship for Teens
10:30am Middle School Bible School (Sundays) Music, study, and fellowship
10:30am God's Delivery House (Senior High Bible Study, Sundays) Music, study, and fellowship

The first Sunday of each month we encourage families to worship together. Children learn from adults. Witnessing how we worship, praise, take communion, and watching a baptism helps children to become better Christians.

Tuesday Evening Studies:
6:00pm Xtreme Kids (3rd to 6th Graders) A study teaching children the importance of Discipleship.
6:00pm M & M's Kids' Ministry (4 Year Olds to 2nd Grade) A ministry teaching the importance of Missionaries and their work
6:00pm Small Group Bible Study - Informal, fun, small group Bible study

Wednesday Evening Bible Studies:
6:00pm Prayer and Bible Study - An hour and a half of study with friends in the main sanctuary
6:00pm Bible Study for Women who Work - One hour of study
6:00pm Youth Group and Youth Band - A great way to meet other teens, share Christian music and the Bible

We have several small group studies around the community throughout the week, call the church office for details.

For Our Guests:
Please do not feel obligated to participate in the offering. The offering is for those who regularly attend or consider Mountain Bible Church their church home. As our guest we ask that you fill out our attendance slip and give the slip to an usher.
Tapes or CDs of the sermon are available. Please use a tape request form to order your copy. We ask for a $2.00 donation to cover cost.
Parents with infants, toddlers, or preschoolers are encouraged to take advantage of our wonderful infant care center. Infant care (0-2 years) is available in the nursery.
Children’s Ministry Programs are available.
