Honestly, some of the worst food I've ever encountered, don't know if I just came on a day where they were only serving the leftovers from the day before or what. Pancake was good, though. The picture below shows my $12.75 breakfast with what I'm only guessing is craft cheese on my eggsFood: 1/5
I'm gonna be honest - I'm not the hugest fan of greasy spoon diners usually. So I was very pleasantly surprised coming to Mountain Cafe for the first time today and thoroughly enjoying everything about it. This is basics done at a very high level, and for a very attractive price. Don't be like me - don't sleep on Mountain Cafe. Will be back!
My father and I loved the food, and I I don’t usually enjoy restaurant eggs, but this is some of the best scrambled eggs I’ve ever tried. Highly recommend for any breakfast and all of the staff was great our waitress April was phenomenal! When The sweetest little old lady came in and they held the door for her and even helped her to the car
We absolutely love this place! The food is amazing and we’ve had amazing servers and service. But we had a terrible server 2 ish weeks ago on a Sunday . I can not for the life of me remember her name but she is a short girl, brown hair, and glasses. She was so rude and not just to us she was rude to others, she was loud and she was also ignoring customers while she talked to a guy maybe a boyfriend maybe a customer? Either way it was completely unacceptable and when we come in again if she is our server we will be leaving! I never want an experience like that again because this is our favorite breakfast place in Ft. Collin’s!
My favorite breakfast place in town. The perfect place for the best cozy breakfast food. Their chicken fried anything has always been my go to and I have never been disappointed. Their prices are completely reasonable and the service is always friendly.Food: 5/5
Came in with my husband and baby to celebrate my birthdah and was helped by Beth and April. I wanted a breakfast spot but avoid the FoCo hip crowd, and this was the perfect local spot. Great music in the radio, good diner food and drip coffee, and incredibly kind service. Tha k you!Food: 4/5

The food was delicious, best chicken fried steak in town. The wait staff was attentive and kind. Food was brought out quickly. It even looks like the owner and the waitresses get along well, and to me, the food always tastes the best when the workers are treated well. Will visit again.Food: 5/5
I ordered chocolate chip pancakes and they came with burnt onions in them and they tasted like biting into an onion. They said they’d take it off my bill but once they charged my card I found out they didn’t. Wouldn’t recommend at all. Sever never came back to check on food so couldn’t tell her it was bad. 0/10Food: 1/5
It was the most awkward breakfast I've ever had! The two ladies working the day my husband and I didn't have much nice to say about the people visiting the cafe! They would go to the back and make complaints about the people and their orders! It was loud and everyone could hear it! The food was definitely something I could have made at home! As we where leaving one of the waitresses and a couple older ladies started to argue after the waitresses told them they needed to stop being rude! They told her she was rude! Then asked how she was being rude and they told her they could hear everything they have been saying! Maybe get more professional staff!
