I custom ordered this cake, and couldn't have asked for anything better. The cake was soft like a cloud and the frosting melted in my mouth. The Mountain Home Bakery staff was very friendly, and the price was fantastic.

Definitely worth a stop. This is a small bakery behind the Pacific Avenue McDonald's. When you enter you can see the entire facilty. In the immediate front is a display of about four dozen types of freshly made pastries, donuts, muffins, cupcakes, and cookies. On Thursdays they make 2-4 types of gluten free items as well. Items average $1.25 each vs the typical $2.50 - 3.75 elsewhere in town for the same thing. Coffee & tea too. If you found this to be helpful, how about a thumbs-up? Thx.

Everything that they make is so good I have to limit my visits or I would gain a lot of weight

Donuts were just o.k. Not much of a variety, nor creativity in their selection.

These pastries are a cut above the other local offerings. After a few dozen I can safely say there have been no complaints from me or any of my coworkers.
