Story

From the days of wood burning stoves to the evolution of outdoor rooms…Mountain Home Center has served the Truckee/Tahoe area.

Since the mid-80s, Mountain Home Center has evolved from sales and support of simple wood stoves and fireplace equipment to two stores including our 9,000 sq. ft. showroom on Brockway Road — one of the premiere showrooms of its type in the nation.

We built our business on highly personalized customer service of stoves and fireplaces and expanded to meet the needs of a growing Truckee and the surrounding area with hot tubs, saunas, BBQs, outdoor furniture and artistic accessories.

We recently had the best customer service experience at Mountain Home Center. While trying to get a wood stove door repaired in advance of guests arriving, store manager Sam Marsh stepped up and fixed it himself as his normal crew was away for training. Less than one hour later our door was good as new. Also a big help was Price Samuel checking us in and out. Highly recommend this store. What a great team.

We're thrilled with our new Hot Spring spa from Mountain Home Center. Tom Just seems to have an encyclopedic knowledge of spas and helped us pick out just the right model for our family. Sam Marsh coordinated a seamless delivery and installation, and then went above and beyond teaching us how to operate the salt water system and maximize the filter life. I highly recommended Mountain Home Center for its excellent customer service and fair pricing -- and it feels good to support a family owned local business that always gives back to our community.

I originally purchased my spa through Mountain Home Center several years ago-- great price and seamless installation.

On several occasions I have either needed support or advice and always got what I needed quickly.

Sam is extremely knowledgeable about spa products and services and has never failed to either provide the necessary advice or educate me as to proper maintenance procedures

When I am next again in the Spa market I will be contacting Mountain M
Home Center. It is all about their service after the sale.
