We did two mountain bike shuttle rides with these guys and camped at their campground. They know what they are doing when it comes to getting large groups rallied and up the mountain. They know the area, are well organized and fun to work with. John runs a great snow. The campground is clean, well kept, the bathrooms are clean and the Curtis does a good job keeping everything in order. As far as camping and adventure tours go, this River & Mountain Adventures is class act.

Did the Double Blitz which was 2x down the river. VERY fun!! Kids were unsure about the rapids until we went down the first one then we all just wanted more! Now that we've done it, next time we'd do 1/2 day! Great guides!

Awesome trip (Lower Kern III) with my two buddies and our sons. Our guide, Mr. Talent was awesome. Great outfit. I will be back with my son and daughter for another trip.

Predatory reservation procedures. Purchased a trip, my card was charged, and afterwards I receive additional terms that were not disclosed to me pre-purchase. Thankfully the Federal Trade Commission and California state law allow for a cooling off period with regards to contracts for purchases of goods and services, so being as it was just over 24 hours since my purchase I figured I was fine. Well "John" the manager does not know who the FTC is and seems to think this companies' policies override federal and state law. After I explained my rights as a consumer he laughed and stated "no refunds". Know your rights as a consumer before you let this company take advantage of you. You have a right to send a notice of cancellation within the time period allowed and you are protected, regardless of what "John" says.

Well run campsite. Camp hosts are helpful and keep everything neat and tidy.
