I've never been treated so poorly by a medical professional in my life! I do give 1 star because the clinic was open on a Saturday, and the front desk professional was lovely, friendly, and helpful. That's where the good things ended with my visit there. I saw Dr. Pepi, who was arrogant and cold. She never smiled, only briefly made eye contact and asked very few questions. She seemed to be challenging herself on how few words she could use in a visit. She had an air of superiority about her and showed a total lack of concern which was evident in her poor bedside manner and in her lack of attention to detail and poor communication and follow up. She didn't ask me if I was hurting. She didn't ask me how long I'd been taking the medication I was on, nor whether or not it was helping. I am a registered nurse and know what a good assessment is, and she did not ask enough or the right questions to properly assess me. She was very poor at communicating with me. She did no testing. She misdiagnosed me, and ordered a medication I am allergic to. At the end of the visit, she had told me she was ordering an additional medication, but didn't tell me where she sent the prescription to. It was not at my pharmacy, and my pharmacy had never heard of it (the name of the med was written on my visit instructions plainly, but didn't say where she sent the rx to). When I realized these things, I called the clinic back, but it had closed for the day. The on-call physician, Dr. Owens could not or would not fix the issue and refused to contact Dr. Pepi so that she could fix it. As it turned out, she'd called the additional medication in to a pharmacy in Pensacola, FL, and the copay for the medication was several hundred dollars, but I didn't find this out until 2.5 days after my visit, when that pharmacy contacted me. I basically wasted a large portion of my day, since it took an hour to drive there and all the energy I had, since I'd already been sick for 8 days at that point; and wasted my hard-earned money to see a doctor who did not help me at all, and could have caused more harm if I'd taken the medicine she prescribed, which I am allergic to. Since I was still sick 2 days later, I called the clinic back and asked if Dr. Pepi could call me, hoping to explain the issue and hoping she would call in another medication. She never called me back. I had to schedule and pay for another appointment with my physician. I'm attempting to make a formal complaint with the practice manager. Update: she finally called me back about 12 hours later. She continued to have no sympathy whatsoever for my condition and would not order medication that would make me better. She said if I continued to decline to call back. I asked "how long do I need to continue to decline before I can call back and hope to get some help?" She said 48 hrs. I reminded her that it had been more than 48 hrs since she had seen me, and I had declined since then, which I had already explained how I had gotten worse: fever returned, sweats and chills, worse pain, worse coughing and worse other symptoms which I will not mention because they're gross. I have never seen a doctor so hell bent on not helping a patient get well. It's like it's an ego thing to her. She wants to be right and it doesn't matter what i tell her, or how bad I am feeling and the severity of my symptoms, she will not help me, because she is sticking with her previous diagnosis which was wrong, and she won't admit it.

I (Sheila's husband) recently visited Mountain View twice within the past week. The first time was with Dr. Pepi for what I thought might be an inner ear infection, and the second was with Dr. Mallon for small procedure I had to have done. Today with Mallon, I found her to be personable, prompt, caring and fast - what more could you want from your doctor? I've seen Pepi several times and she's also been pleasant. I would highly recommend both.

It takes at least 10 minutes for someone to answer the phone, the same day appointments are full 10 minutes in to the day, the Drs don't return calls nor do they send rxs in promptly and you will wait at least 30 minutes to be seen.

Horrible doctors and money-hungry. Don't accidentally miss an appointment folks! They'll charge you $50+ and haunt you forever until you pay them!

I have seen Dr. Hurst, Dr. Mallon, and NP Fitts. All of them are wonderful and very caring. They are always so thoughtful and if they don't have an answer they will get you one right away. They have always made my family feel extremely comfortable and cared for.
