I had a great experience thanks to Seth who was my RN!!! Awesome bedside manners! He was efficient and had great follow up! He took out the time to explain everything!!! He is a very caring nurse!!!!

It is so nasty to come atop this beautiful place to the hospital and seeing a crowd of people smoking who clearly indicate they work here by seeing the outfit they have on ... Much less seeing the nurse who just treated me I seen her smoking outside .. I don't really care what another,person does.. Ijs isn't smoking,unhealthy.. U guys need to learn practice,what u preach..

It's hard to put into words just how deeply grateful we are to the staff of Mountains Community Hospital.  These people are some of the most caring individuals we've ever encountered.  We took Mom there to the ER.  Within just a few moments, they had her in a bed and were doing a very thorough work-up.  Within less than 5 minutes, they moved her closer to the nurses station to be able to monitor her even more closely.  Throughout this whole experience, Mom was treated with dignity and respect.  She was eventually admitted to the hospital for several days.  After seeing the amount of care and understanding that was being given to her, we were able to go home late that night, knowing that she was in capable hands.  Everytime we visited, we were welcomed and immediately brought up to date on what was happening.  We also received calls at home letting us know how things were going.  When we called the hospital, we were never treated like we were bothering them.  Instead, we felt as though we were on the same team for helping Mom.  When we finally brought her home (much improved and feeling much better), we had a home health nurse contact us immediately and come out within just hours.  Prior to Mom coming home, the hospital set-up and sent over oxygen and a tech to show us how to use it when Mom came home.  This little gem of a community hospital is actually the star in the medical care crown.  If all hospitals were run and staffed like Mountains Community Hospital, everyone would receive remarkable care and attention.  Thank you for everything you've done.

Everyone was very nice and helpful. My son got the help I was expecting. everyone actually seemed like they loved there job.

I never thought I would write a kudos review about an emergency room but here I am! The nurses and doctors are awesome and really care about taking care of their patients. They're very attentive, organized and caring. They never make you feel like you're wasting their time. Although I absolutely love the nurses and doctors, the receptionists could use a little course in customer service. Most of the time I walk up and they don't even acknowledge me or the other people in line. They often have a sign stuck in their window, saying their closed (can't remember what the exact verbiage is).  The first time I went here, my friend had to go up to the window and tell them "hey, I need help!" They are cold and make you feel sort of stupid. The difference between the way the receptionists treat patients and the way nurses/doctors treat us is like night and day.
