Irredeemable. I can take dingy. I seek out hole-in-the-wall. But this is predicated on the idea that though the exterior is rough, the food is good. This place had all the qualities of a run down restaurant including its Chef Boyardee cuisine. If you are looking for canned sauce and over cooked noodles, you've come to the right place. We thought we were going to a typical diner—it's not—they don't even run their breakfast menu all day. Two stars because I didn't see cockroaches or rats.

My family was visiting Chincoteague for the first time, and needed someplace to go for breakfast. We chose Mr. Baldy's as it had the highest rating. WHY DID IT HAVE THE HIGHEST RATING?, the food was awful, and most of the leather on the chairs was cracked and peeling.
Service was slow, and our waiter was not rude, but not the nicest of people either.
I would NOT recommend  going here, go to Bill's PRIME, they have excellent food and the service is wonderful.

Great breakfast. Cream chipped beef was perfect. Nice local feel. Good coffee. Kid friendly. Will be back again!

We enjoyed our meal) enormously, especially after the complaining disagreeable people behind us left. Our serverer was wonderful, the chili was very good and homemade. Our burgers were handmade and cooked to our order. All around good place for an inexpensive vacation dinner.

Great place off the beaten path.  The staff is friendly and attentive without being overbearing.  Still haven't had a chance to get breakfast, wish it was all day but there is something for everyone either way.
