Wonderful place to find new and classic books alike. Great selection of almost any genre, and they even have a wide array of music selections, from records to CDs, upstairs. Mr. K's has many great promos that encourage branching out your reading such as their 'blind date' books (selections wrapped in brown paper with only a brief description or hint written on the front). And they also offer trade credit for any books you may no longer need. I highly recommend checking this store out.

I love this book store. I can take the items I have read in to them for cash or credit. I prefer the credit option as I am an avid reader. Employees are super helpful. I could spend hours in this store.

Mr. K's has a wide selection of: books, comics, CDs, DVDs/Blu-ray, vinyl, video games, and much more. Prices are fair and I've been able to negotiate a few times. They offer cash and trade value for books and other items. They're reasonable and won't try to scam you. The staff are always willing to help. They have bathrooms open to the public which have always been clean in my experience. I frequent Mr. K's often and will remain a loyal customer for the foreseeable future.

I was visiting Johnson City and saw Mr. K's and decided to stop. I'm from Charleston and we have a Mr. K's as well. The one in Johnson City is enormous compared to the one here. They have two floors chock full of books, CDs, and DVDs. My family and I had a great time. The prices are very reasonable and they always have something you want.

I love browsing in Mr K's in Johnson City and Oak Ridge, TN.  Conveniently laid out with all the sections from research, new novels, foreign language studies and especially fine children's section.  Very competitive pricing system.  Cashiers are friendly, bathrooms available as is handicap parking.  They quickly go through your trade books and give you a choice of money back or trade.
