Really, really clean! If the locals eat here (and they do) you can be sure it's good. Their fast, friendly staff and warm, comfortable atmosphere can't be beat. My husband had the boneless pork chops and they were done perfectly (not dry!). I had the taco salad. The chili is meaty and sweet (there's hot sauce on the table if you want it). They also have an ice cream shop that looks really tempting!

Not great but not awful.  Coffee & tea had to be remade because it was old.  Not convinced pies are all home made.  Food wasn't as good as what you'd make at home.  Hot dogs are hard to mess up so those were good.  Liver and onions very dry.  Well, the onions were good. Green beans from a can and not well seasoned, I think they were just heated up.  Nice people but slow service.  I'd not go there again but maybe for burgers and sandwiches it's good.

We stopped here on our way home from NC. We had a very pleasurable experience. Our waitress Dorothy was amazing and is a true asset to this restaurant. If you are able to request Dorothy as your server, do so! 

I had the cream chicken & biscuits & my husband had the liver & onions, both were delicious. If you want home style cooking, comfort food Mr. Lees is an excellent choice. 

After Dorothy described the pies to us we ended up taking home an entire coconut cream pie, with no regrets...yum! I will keep this on my list of places to revisit on my travels!

Tasty food. Stopped by while driving. For a drink I said water, no lemon or lime. My drink had a floating seed in it. My father asked to have green beans as a side but got green peas. Probably innocent mistake because the words are similar. He had no problem with the peas. Waitress was really nice but clumsy. She bumped into a eldery. But the elderly was okay.

Great lunch. Most everything was made from scratch. Portions were nice.  Our server Kim was great.  Prices were fair and atmoshere was welcoming.  Thank you
