Great fried chicken here. Always eat here after a day at Knott's Berry and it's a perfect way to finish the day. It's really good southern food and their biscuits are amazing! We come here all the time and have never been disappointed with the service. Really good place to bring the family.

Disappointed. Visited specifically for the Chicken Dinner. Ordered the two-piece chicken dinner with mashed potatoes, cabbage and chicken noodle soup. Wasn't the same as it used to be. Chicken was dry, mashed potatoes tasted like they were from a box and everything was so bland. The biscuits weren't the same either. They used to be small and cylinder-shaped and tasted fresh now they're big and have the texture of being frozen and reheated. Very sad. They should have renamed the restaurant since they changed the quality of the food. What a disgrace to the Knott name.

After a half day at the Park, I was really looking forward to a chicken dinner (lunch). As it was a weekday and late lunch hour, we were seated quickly in the bar area. The bar area has a contemporary industrial motif unlike the western style that I expected. I ordered the traditional chicken dinner (lunch) 2 piece dark meat, mash potatoes and corn as the side. Honesty, I thought the chicken was a little bit small, not your typical fryer style. As for the chicken: the crust lacked flavor (no seasoning) and the chicken lacked moisture. So, I decided to dig a little deeper to the bone to verify my thought and yes, the chicken was old. Simply disappointed. The service was great, hence the two stars instead of one.

As a kid, I thought this place was amazing in the late 80's. As an adult who knows better, it isn't the best fried chicken I've had, and it's expensive. I would have given two stars for a $22 fried chicken dinner. However, pro tip: One chicken dinner easily feeds two adults, and they allow you to split. Add on a relatively inexpensive side, order water, and you have a very reasonably-priced dinner for two (in our case, we were able to stretch it to three). The sides are good; I liked the rhubarb and cherries. So with splitting your meal, this place goes from two stars to four stars. The restaurant also looks very nice with the remodel; it's rustic, but has a nice, modern fee as well.

Dine in for breakfast; lots of options including Grand breakfast basically can feed two for the price of one. We opted in for fried chicken and eggs. Came with fresh baked biscuits, soft butter, gravy and boysenberry jam... my favorite part of the meal. Chicken tight was juicy but breast was a bit dry which I ended up dipping in the gravy. Service was great and the decore is farmhouse like cute.
