Wow what a gem of a place! Some of the most amazing pastries we’ve had. Also great food and coffee. We’ve come back many times for brunch and our favorite apple tarts. Love the atmosphere and the staff is always friendly and helpful.
beautiful place, great service, well staffed and the food is AMAZING. hannah at the counter is the best! great options + amazing pastries, definitely worth the visit
Bakery items are delicious but we had a pressed sandwich which was small, hard/stale and flavorless and granola fruit yogurt & honey bowl which yogurt was liquidy poor quality with overripe strawberries and blueberries - getting rid of old fruit? So disappointing for such a pretty place with so much potential. Service was not friendly.
Do not buy anything on Sunday eve. The two desserts I bought at full price tasted like it was weeks old. My opinion this just should be for sale, esp not at full price. Not fair.
Very nice atmosphere, friendly staff, we tried food from their cafe menu and our meals, salads & drinks were most enjoyable.
Love, love, love went today - They graciously made me a ham and cheese croissants and a very good iced coffee! going to go back with friends and enjoy more plus some rose! They had me at croissant, but the pink plates, glasses and cozy club chair had me in coffee heaven
Had breakfast there. The blue corn pancakes and the chicken sausage. They they may be the best blue corn pancakes I’ve ever had. They were light and crispy but also moist and you could really taste the blue corn. Their coffee isn’t my style but will definitely go back to try other dishes.
FANTASTIC! This is just the kind of place the town of Westport needed on Main Street. This place raises the standards. The chef is beyond brilliant. Our first time there we were greeted with smiling faces and employees clearly proud and happy to work at Mrs. London's. We only had drinks and a chocolate croissant. My first thought was $5 seemed a bit much for a chocolate croissant, but then I ate it. I was instantly brought back to Paris in a flash of memories that seem all too distant as we haven't traveled to Europe since before COVID. It was easily one of the best chocolate croissants I've ever had: the outside flaky and since it was warm out, the chocolate was slightly melted which created deliciousness in my mouth. The second time we visited we dove into the menu, we had: smoked chicken hash, cheese and mushroom omelet, grapefruit brûlée, chocolate croissant, coffee, and chai latte. The chicken hash was phenomenal! SO flavorful! Somehow the cheese and mushroom omelet though simple was also prepared to be tastier than any other omelet I've had the mushrooms were clearly cooked prior to throwing them in the omelet which is how it should be done but rarely is. The show stopper: Grapefruit brûlée, just brilliant. Three pieces of grapefruit are brûléed which adds a caramelized sweet crunch to each bite, the entire plate is sprinkled in small flower petals which add just the right amount of delicate floral sensation which I can only describe as a touch of perfume for your mouth. This place is my new go to and I honestly haven't tasted this amount of creativity and flavor in a very long time. My mouth is watering just thinking of my next visit...
I had high hopes for this cute bakery in Westport... unfortunately the food did not meet those expectations. I've never experienced such a stale hard baguette in my life. It tasted like it was weeks old. I also tried the almond croissant and it was Starbucks quality.. definitely not fresh. My suggestion for the owner and chef is to take their profits from this place and actually travel to France and try the train station food there, which surpasses their bakery quality by a long shot.
Pleasant staff, great vibe, delicious food & coffee. Highly recommend and have a seat outside on a beautiful day and enjoy.
