Nice museum of natural history with a regional Michigan flavor. Kids apparently love it, based on the reviews, but I haven't been a kid in quite a long time, haha, and really enjoy stopping by and strolling around. Would be nice to see a little more curation around evolutionary principles and mechanisms, with all of the pseudoscience peddled these days. Some visitors have commented on parking. Here's the key: grab a spot in one of the public garages across the street in town and walk over maybe a block or two. This makes finding a spot easy, getting in and out easy, you get to walk a little bit on campus, which is pretty, and you can let yourself relax and enjoy it all!
Nice small museum. Parking can be challenging, but there is a parking garage that's about a 5-10 minute walk away. 3 levels. Wasn't too busy when we visited. My kids loved the dinosaurs.
I like spending time at museum,It is a must to learn different things, going through the different areas is a nice experience. Admission is free and You can get your tickets doing register online here https://museum.msu.edu/visit/visitor-information/ Or just doing on person at museum
I went with my 4 year old and 2 year old grandsons. We loved it. It’s not a children’s museum but there were so many ways for them to interact; touching elephant tusks, feeling moss, seeing how many beaver pelts would buy different items at the Trading Post, guessing who belongs to the footprints, puzzles, books and more. We loved the brown bear and the animal dioramas. Our favorite area was the NOAA Science on a Sphere; the globe was huge, the computer screen interactive and my 4 year old loved being in control! We spent an hour, took a break for snacks, and spent at least as much time again. We’ll be back!
Parking is terrible. Not many spaces for visitors. Museum is on the smaller side. Admission is free for all. Three levels of exhibits. Held my 5 year old's attention for about an hour.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNoPrice for adult entryFree

I love taking my niece and nephew here! They love seeing all the dinosaur fossils and being able to read about history! Such a fun and learning experience during the summer! Afterwards stop by the gift shop and grab a souvenir! Thank you MSU museum for doing such a fantastic job!
Lots of history, including natural history, and wonderful building. Free to enter and free parking within walking distance. Exhibits, of course, may change.
