The store may have some nice looking fish, but the guy behind the counter does not know much about fish. I asked him for a sushi grade salmon and tuna, he said that he has and I can choose from any stuff in the cooler. Asked him if the salmon was frozen to kill parasites..... (very common in salmon), he said that none of his fish was frozen (all is fresh) but it is still very good for sushi. By federal regulation it should be frozen to -4 deg for 7 days.... Be carful buying there unless you looking for some experience with an ugly worm in your guts and you have a good insurance.....

I love this place. I am a seafood snob and theirs is fresh and very well presented. but the best part of the whole shopping experience is that the owners and staff take customer service to a level one doesn't see except rarely. You can call the shop in the middle of the day, in the middle of the maddest of holiday rushes and whomever answers will be courteous and helpful. It is the same in store. Good product, good service--This place gets top rating from this gourmet.
