I have lived and grew up in La Verne and I've been to the Mud Shack once when I was a young girl.. 
Recently my friend invited us to go with her for a 'one of a kind' Christmas gift. 
My one year old son and I were looking for a unique gift for Dada, and we found just that! We had a blast painting and creating our own designs on the ceramic bowl we picked out. 
(I know dada will love his gift)
The worker was very helpful and showed us different techniques and tips that just made the painting experience that much more fun! The owner was also very nice and great with the kids!
Definitely loved everything about the place and I am hooked! I already have plans to go back!
If you have kids, love arts and crafts, or want a unique gift for someone, I urge you to go to the Mud Shack!

Love this place! It's only 4/5 stars because it's pretty expensive, but I really recommend going here.

My mother (visiting out of state), my girlfriend and I decided this would be a fun activity.  The first day we went this establishment was randomly closed just because.  It wasn't on a Thursday either, it was closed during business hours.

So we go the next day and the employee couldn't have been less friendly.  She didn't seem interested at all in helping us and left us asking questions about everything with no desire in wanting to answer them.  

Not only all of this but she told us that she's leaving before normal business hours because it's been slow all day as we are picking our cups which made all of us feel very rushed.  Was she gonna kick us out?

I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.  It seems the daughter runs it sometimes and she has no clue how to retain customers.  Terribly ran.

Closes whenever against business hours and then most unfriendly level of customer service.  Never coming here again.

We didn't know this place was not open to the public on Thursdays.  My son was so excited to make his daddy a gift that he worked all week to be able to go here and paint a cup.  Instead the girl working opened the door and told my son that "only special people can come in today."  My son is autistic, he left crying.  This situation broke my heart for my son.  I won't be back.  Fortunately the people at Color me Mine were there for us. They saved the day for my little boy.
