Pretty typical dive bar. Better the earlier you go. Tenders are fairly on top of things, but do pay more attention to the regulars, as per usual. Karaoke is sub par in my opinion, but the talks out back make up for it. Overall decent bar. If you want food, the Flying Squirrel is much better and right across the street.Food: 3/5
I absolutely love this bar. Affordable drinks, great bartenders. Laura is absolutely fun, engaging and very friendly. It has a dive-like feel to it, but everyone there is friendly, and respectful. The only downside that could be spoken of is, currently, there is no kitchen, but considering the size of the building it is understandable. They do offer a small selection of snacks from behind the bar and they do have a vending machine.
I didn't order any food. Just had an amazing cider. Listened to the karaoke and had a great experience.Service: 5/5
I had an absolute blast hanging at Mulligans! It was Saturday night, and the owners were nice enough to make pizza dough in large quantities for the whole bar to enjoy. They took our orders and it took only around 15min to have fresh baked mini pizzas to order. It was FREE, but of course I tipped them. They typically don't have food available as it is a smaller venue, but its more about the EFFORT! I wish more small business owners got in the dirt and represented their businesses like these guys at Mulligans! I would recommend stopping by for a drink anytime.
Nice place to play pool and I enjoy the open mic night
So I just had one of the worst experiences of my life with a local pub that I love to frequent. Laura, is a a bartender now short skinny brunette, big nose and was just the worse! First off I walk into the pub and wait for over eight minutes while she serves other patrons that walked up to the bar after me and then proceeds to empty the dishwasher. I politely continue to wait as she continues to have a chat with another patron and let them throw beer cans into their recycling bin. I finally get my drink after a few more minutes of this. I finish my drink and go back to get another. She continues to ignore and just chat with other customers. Again I was ignored after about four other patrons came up to the bar AFTER me and they were served first. I do not say anything but I know I do not look happy. She comes up to me and says I am the only person here so you will have to wait. I politely say, "I understand, I have been waiting patiently for some time now." She continues to go and have another conversation with another patron who was not ordering anything. She then comes over and gives me the drink after a few more minutes waiting patiently. I again go in after my drink was finished and she continued to go about cleaning duties and conversations with other patrons as I again patiently waited for almost 10 minutes at this point. At this point she has another patron come to me and introduce themselves, walk back to the bartender and tell her my name to run my card, since she could not remember. Again, I was polite, sober and I had money. Laura was her name and she was absolutely terrible at her job! I do not recommend going to this place unless she is gone! I will change my rating and review once she is no longer working at this establishment. Parking: about 12 parking spots in the lot and more street parking available.
Good service, stiff drinks, and the atmosphere was chill…. I’d go back if I was around there..Service: 5/5
Let me just take this opportunity to say that I flipping love this pub. It may be a hole in the wall, but it is a damn good one. They got pool, video lottery, a jukebox, friendly bartenders, friendly patrons, it's just a great place. it may not have a lot of food to offer, but that's fine cuz they let you take food from other places, no questions asked. it's always a good time, there's no place I'd rather go with a big bucket of chicken wings and round out my $30 nightly budget on a few mixed drinks than here. Did I mention it's like super reasonably priced?
Great neighborhood pub, where you can almost always enjoy live music--if not inside, out in back.
They dont actually serve food, but make good drinks and they will usually allow you to bring in outside food to go with your drinks!Food: 1/5
