(I posted this on yelp too but they helped me out so I can't say enough good things about them!) Hi my name is annie, I am a real person who is definitely not a car person! I am so happy with Murrieta Auto Repair and am very glad that I called them completely by accident! I confused them with another auto place's phone number. I called Murrieta Auto Repair upset with my car still leaking and filling with gas fumes after i had taken it in a few weeks earlier (to that OTHER company who misdiagnosed my problem costing me $150). Chris picked up the phone and cheerfully said he would take my car after the dealer (my second attempt at getting help w/my car) told me I had to wait with gas fumes filling my car until Tuesday! Chris & Michelle took me not only at the last minute but even after i showed up late (I drove to the wrong place! and that is how i found out i called the wrong number) I still thought it was the other company! How things went down: I dropped off my car on saturday at 9:10 am when they were very busy and they weren't bothered/upset by my being really late! Which i really appreciated I was so stressed out w/my car drama. They were honest and warned me that they were busy and that they were going to look and depending on the problem the repair time could take the whole day or even through to monday, I rented a car before then so I was okay with that. Around 11am I got a call from Chris saying they figured out what was wrong, I had a cracked fuel pump, which is really dangerous. My car could have caught fire! Chris told me the price and it wasn't bad, I was expecting more than 1k and it was only $600 bucks after I added extras since they were in there. By 2:30pm saturday (that same day) they finished the ENTIRE REPAIR. From a customer service point of view they were amazing, they took me in after I was both late & last minute, then they finished my repair early and completely it doesn't smell like gas anymore! When I called them to inqyure about my car they said they had further recommendations, which had me worried, you always hear about that! Those dreaded recommendations. But when I got there in person they actually checked every inch of my car! They were the only people who noticed my back door lock didn't work and that my back window didn't roll down. They showed me on a schematic where the problems were. They also stated that these weren't issues that needed my attention immediately but were important if I was going to keep my car long term. Which my car is 12 years old with 170k+ miles and yes, I do want to keep it forever. So I am very happy with this small business, they were so good to me. Thank you!

Met Justin for qst time today being from Oregon hard to find a real customer friendly garage. Had several issues and we discussed the issues and my jeep was done same day. Reasonable rate and included a warranty on their repairs. Will be taking back if time permits for other work DCH jeep no way not customer friendly. IF YOU NEED AUTO REPAIR see them 1st

After dealing with a few sub-par shops and ridiculously poor service at the dealership, I think I may have found a one stop service shop that I would recommend to anyone. The work they performed on my 2011 Sonata was top notch. It rides and handles so much better now. The customer service was excellent and I greatly appreciate all the help. I will be taking my car there from now on.

Went in with an annoying check engine light, EVAP code (damn thing has been on for months), Code P0440. I called over the phone and asked if they could schedule me soon and help me. They told me to come right in after 2 o clock and they'd seat me in and the diagnostic would be $55 - $110. Kinda bummed to be quoted so high to check the code, but it was later I figured they were running a smoke test. Normally running smoke to test is much higher so $110 , so I wasn't too upset about it. That's a fair price. I see shops charging $160 - 185. I pulled up on the lot, gave my keys - read over the usual work. The time took roughly an hour and a half - very fast for looking through all EVAP lines. Came back, he ran me through saying the hose had a vacuum leak. They cut the line and re positioned it, cleared the code and now it's fixed. No more code, no more hose leakage, no more worries. And to boot, the quoted $110 turned out to only be $55 because the issue was so minor. These guys definitely know what they are doing and I highly recommend you give them a call if you need any kind of service. Prices are very fair and the timing and work is amazing! Definitely stopping back in if my car or future cars ever need service!

A Great Honest auto shop. Don't look anywhere else, these are the local mechanics you want to go with. I recommend them to all of my friends.
