Built in 1875 for the Shelton family. Stephen fought in the Civil War & served as sheriff for 3 terms. A son, Will Taylor, served as an Indian Agent. House became a museum in 1977 and houses a variety of handicrafts including many Indian artifacts.
An historic house with many Indian artifacts, pottery, wood crafts, textiles, dolls, handcrafted furniture and Civil War artifacts. The admission is $5 for adults, $4 for students, under age 5 is free, and groups of ten or more is $4 per person.
