One of the coolest museums I've ever been to. Hundreds of specimens, both full skeletons and just skulls. Most of the museum is organized by animal species, but an intro area is dedicated to bone structure and the different forms of skeletons. The middle area is open, with the skeletons of large mammals standing and multiple whale skeletons hanging from the ceiling. My favorite areas were the ones dedicated to bone pathology, including a case containing cat skulls with different diseases. The staff I met were extremely friendly and more than happy to answer any bone questions I had. I spent way more time than I expected, and it still wasn't enough. 100% recommend a visit, go check it out!

This is a really neat place to go visit. It is a little gem with an incredible story. The collection of skeletons is vast and beautifully arranged. The attention to detail is amazing. The staff are super friendly and helpful. They have a great shop on the way out as well as challenges for the kids who visit. The skeletons on display are touchable and just amazing. Thanks for this !

On my recent trip to OKC I stopped by several museums (museums are my thing). I made a point to stop by the Museum of Osteology and I’m really glad i did. Pretty much any critter you could imagine was in the collection and they were articulated amazingly. The kids that were visiting had a blast and you could do a scavenger hunt as well. I recommend a trip.
