About

The Music Box Supper Club is a world-class, state-of-the-art entertainment destination bringing big-name concerts and delicious dining to Cleveland.

Story

Music Box Supper Club opened in the early fall of 2014 on the West Bank of the flats in downtown Cleveland. This iconic building once housed Club Coconuts.

Today, the building offers two stages— a downstairs Supper Club and an upstairs Concert Hall- and a restaurant. Across these stages well-known national touring musicians perform, as well as local Northeast Ohio talent. Nearly every night of the week a variety of genres is offered to audience members, including blues, jazz, soul, Americana, rock, punk, roots and country. A unique space, hosting unique and/or up and coming talent.

The Rusty Anchor at Music Box is a part of the Supper Club and offers concert goers a la carte style dining. The menu is Americana based, with fresh twists and hints of Chef Dennis’s training in the Caribbean. Enjoy a delicious burger, fresh seafood, or any of our mouthwatering vegetarian and vegan options.

Not only is Music Box a unique two-story concert venue, and restaurant, but it is also the perfect place to hold private events. With waterfront views, a rooftop deck overlooking downtown and customizable floor plans, Music Box is perfect for weddings, fundraisers, civic events, corporate parties, or even a bridal shower! Music Box was the proud recipient of the Corporate Event Venue of the Year (Non-Hotel) award in 2015 and 2016 at the Cleveland Business Connects Connectors Choice Awards.

Above all, Music Box strives to deliver the best possible customer experience for its customers. We constantly strive to improve and excel upon customer service, music, dining, drinks and facilities. Our goal: to deliver one of the most unique entertainment experiences in Northeast Ohio.

Went here for a drag bingoWent here for a drag bingo. The Queen's definitely made it a lot of fun. Although we were there for I think about 5 hours It felt like 2. Vicky the manager is awesome! I only gave 3 stars because I felt they were overpriced for the quality of the food and drinks they were serving. $12 for a week martini is not OK. Not sure if I'll ever go back.
My husband and I spent Labor Day Weekend in Cleveland and wanted to see a live music show. I booked tickets pretty far out and got an email a week before that they were going to be requiring vaccination or negative covid test results. Their website and email also said masks were required. Even if we didn't want to go at this point, they don't allow refunds. I had read reviews before booking the tickets and saw a lot of mixed reviews so I was nervous at what our experience would be. We arrived about an hour early so we could eat before the show started. Our food and drinks came out quickly and everything was pretty good. I would recommend coming and eating before the show as once the show starts the service tappers off quite a bit. Of course, you don't have to order food at all. Not many people wore masks, which didn't bother me, but the email did say they were required. The couple next to us complained that they automatically add a 20% gratuity fee - but we knew this before coming so we weren't surprised to see it on our bill. I would go again, if we are ever in the area. The view from the dock was pretty!
Had dinner and saw an Elton John cover show. First time I've been to this venue. It was a lot of fun. Food was good and the show was great. I will be back!
Great place for concerts. Always enjoy myself every time I visit. We have been to the Music Box Supper Club upstairs for concerts and dinner a few times. We have been downstairs at the Rusty Anchor for concerts & Sunday Brunch several times. The food and service are great, the concerts are always fantastic, the atmosphere is phenomenal. This place is right on the river. So much fun. I LOVE it. UPDATE: 10/06/2022 Saw Broken Arrow- Neil Young Tribute again and they are beyond AMAZING.
Colin Dusault performance was Epic as Usual!! Food is good but very high. If your going to spend that kind of money go to a nice resteraunt and get a good full meal for the same price as appetisers!!!! Service was excellent and quick!!!
We had an AMAZING time at The Music Box. Thornetta Davis and her band was phenomenal the food was great and even though it was more crowded than we anticipated the ambiance was still intimate. They will definitely see our faces again and again! 5 Stars
Eat before you go… I would absolutely loved to give this place five stars… it’s so awesome for seeing cover bands, grabbing some drinks, and just hanging out. But their overpriced food will disappoint you in ways you never thought were possible. With the price, you will think you’re going to get a gourmet meal. Next thing you know you just paid for something that you’d get at a one star fast food restaurant with excellent wait staff. If this place worked on their food they could be incredible.
I went to see Chardon Polka at a holiday brunch. The band was terrific and their show was a lot of fun but the brunch was awful. They say it is $25 but then they tack on a 20% "service charge" which does not go to the servers, it goes to the owners as additional profit. We got there early and were first in line for the food and it was already completely cold. The selection of food was odd and it was all cold. Won't make that mistake again.
We had a good time here and really enjoyed the venue and show. The tables for dining are ‘family style’ so there’s a decent chance you could be sitting with strangers. We got lucky because there was one remaining small table for two which was nice. We were not impressed with the food. It was mediocre at best, which is extra disappointing with the price of the food.
Music Box hosted among the worst events I have ever attended. I cannot recall a single instance in which I have complained about the service of a bar or restaurant, either publicly or to the staff. Sometimes service is more attentive; sometimes it is less so--that's a fact of life, and usually everybody is trying their best to provide a good experience. Not so at Music Box. I attended an event with around 250 people. I was served at the bar twice. The first time, I waited around 30 minutes. The second time, I waited well over 45 minutes. The bare majority of my time was spent standing at the bar. Knowing the hosts and the price, I am certain that Music Box was aware of the number of people. Yet there were only three bartenders during most of the event. People stood at every inch of the bar, and there was no rhyme or reason to service. Once Music Box realized that many guests were standing for a better part of an hour, they could have organized people into lines, but instead the event was chaos, with people standing at every inch of the bar in desperation. The bar even declared that no mixed cocktails would be served--I cannot imagine how much slower it would have been if they had provided a true bar experience. The bar should have been properly staffed in preparation for the event, and the venue should have adapted to serve patrons in an orderly fashion. Instead, I, and my fellow attendees, spent nearly the entire event standing at the bar. I was served twice. If you are planning an important event at which you want you guests to mingle and enjoy themselves, I could not more strongly recommend against Music Box. I would not host an event here if it were free--I would rather my guests spend an evening at home than have them attend an event here. I hardly saw my fellow attendees out of fear that should I divert my attention I would lose my once-an-hour chance to get a single drink. Of course, I do not blame the hosts of the event that I attended, who could not possibly have predicted the collapse in service and organization at this venue.
