Unfortunately, we did not have the best experience with Muska. Poor communication in that it was not timely or clear, extremely high prices for actual materials (labor, however, was reasonable and comparable to other plumbing businesses), and work was not done right the first time for one of the faucets. We asked on numerous occasions for an itemization of materials on the bid, and we were given the run-around. In fact, anytime we asked clarifying questions, we had the impression that we were an inconvenience to them. If we were to have done anything differently, we would have obtained our own materials as Muska unfortunately is highly inflated in this regard, even as they tried to justify it with a warranty (which is only 1 year). If they truly stood behind their work, it should at least be 5 years in my opinion. Our contractor ended up fixing the leaking faucet that was not done right the first time by Muska as they would have been too busy to make the special trip out for us to fix what should have been done right the first time. When we brought this up to them, they did not apologize. It was disappointing to see the lack of professionalism and poor communication on their behalf, and unfortunately I cannot recommend them.

We recently called Muska to replace a kitchen faucet and unclog the laundry room drain in our basement. What we thought was a clogged drain turned out to be a broken pipe which sucked but we were happy that the plumber was able to repair it the same day. He did a good job and was professional, inviting me to look at his progress periodically and explaining everything. He seemed knowledgeable and at this point we were very happy with our choice of plumbing company. Problems arose once we received our bill and noticed that we were charged for an extra hour and half of both the plumber's and apprentice's time. The plumber was here just over 5 1/2 hours from 8am-1:35pm but we were charged for 7 hours and Iwas later told he recorded his time at our house for 7 1/2 hours. The apprentice was here for 3 1/2 hours from 10am-1:35pm but we were charged for 5 hours and he recorded 4 hours on his time sheet. So basically the plumber reported his time very inaccurately AND the billing staff changed the amount of time reported by the apprentice. We eventually got this figured out and were just charged an extra half hour for both plumber and apprentice for the time they spent disposing of materials. However, here is where our second problem starts. They took our old pipes and disposed of them but they left a pile of concrete in front of our garage. I would guess it was about two 5 gallon pails worth but I wouldn't know because they used our recycling bin to haul it out of the house. The apprentice asked if he could put it in front of the garage and my fiancé said yes, thinking he meant temporarily. After telling an office guy about the concrete left at our house he called back to tell me that we told the plumber we wanted to keep the concrete to fill in a hole in our garden! It took 3 conversations with office staff to get this concrete pile picked up. This was in addition to the 3 or 4 calls I made regarding the inaccurate bill. The office staff never once apologized for these inconveniences but rather acted like I was an inconvenience to them. I'm so confused how they could even mess the bill up in 2 ways it makes me wonder if it's an intentional practice. I contacted the company about my experience and was basically told they were sorry but sometimes people have bad days although that's no excuse. I dealt with these people on like 5 different days and they were always having a bad day! This is what you get nowadays for $900...oh and a kitchen faucet installed, faucet not included.
