Honestly I like this movie theater I know it’s not an “AMC” theater but for the area it’s nice to have something like this for downtown residents. I always say the more you put into something the more you get back. So if we patronize it more maybe they can upgrade to something’s that people are looking for. But on a more positive note: I like the staff, I love that there is a live band playing during the week they sound good check em out, there’s a bar inside, the parking is good because you can park inside and walk straight to your car, if you’re at a hotel it’s walking distance from your hotel. So yes it’s intimate but as a person that goes on a consistent basis I’m happy!
Awesome place. Diamond in the rough. Bar is stocked. The prices you can not find anymore.
This was the worst movie theater I have ever been to. Do not waste your money!! First of all, I didn't have any issues with staff. They were very friendly but they cannot save this review. I was in Theater 3. Screen: You could see the projectors reflection in the screen itself. Very annoying. But I could ignore it. The screen was also very small for a movie theater. Seats: They look good but they're pretty bad. Seats are hard and they do NOT recline. They look like reclining chairs but they are not. Also they are squeaky so when you lean back it squeaks. And that was not only my chair... Sound: Whenever there was bass heavy sound there was a metallic rattling noise from the right side wall when facing the screen. As if some metal panel had come loose. Whenever there was silent scenes the extremely loud AC would fill the room with noise. Unacceptable and impossible to ignore. The room was cold. I think it was like 65F in there. Food: 12 dollars for the chicken tenders and chips. These were just frozen Walmart chicken tenders heated in an oven, to the point of being completely inedible! They were bone dry and charred. And as for the chips...a tiny bag of Lays? And this was twelve dollars?! This is absolutely insane and unacceptable at this price point!! Drinks were crazy expensive as well, I think 8 bucks or so for a fountain soft drink. But at least they were as expected... My disappointment is immeasurable and I've wasted my money. I wouldn't go to this theater again even if the tickets were free.
This theater has been spectacular from the start. Very clean, seating is spacious every chair is its own recliner, and stadium style seating helps with your view. There isn't a bad seat in here. There's a cool bar just 20 feet away. I went to use the bathroom and staff behind the cash register were singing karaoke. What more could you want in a movie theater? This is the best one in the city, by far.
Delightful staff. Clean and comfortable seating. Good food and snacks.
Such a cute place, very distinctive between the bar and theatre. The staff is so friendly and cool.
Enjoyed it. Easy parking. Comfy and cozy theatre. Good popcorn. If I lived in S Louis I'd be a regular
Really mixed feelings about this place. Firstly, $5 tickets on Wednesdays is an awesome deal. And the theater itself is very nice, comfy seats, great viewing experience. But the staff is...interesting. Friendly for sure, but every staff member I interacted with majorly reeked of marijuana. And one of the employees apparently had their kid with them. And he was a joy, running and screaming through the concessions and bar area at all times.
Small theater up a lot of stairs making it feel like a secret place when you go. There is an elevator, as well as a parking garage and street parking around the block. The seats are large and rock which can lead to squeaking while the movie is playing. There are trays attached to the seats instead of cup holders giving you somewhere to put your concessions. All in all it's a fun experience but I would rather go somewhere with a larger movie screen.
I was so displeased with this facility, I forgot to write a review but am now doing so a week after my visit. We went to the opening of The Color Purple. Movie was great and the cleanliness of the facility and parking is good also. The staff was rude, extremely unorganized, and not helpful. Obviously it was going to be a large turnout with it being opening day for the feature, they were scrambling around like chickens with their heads cut off. There were 2 lines, 1 to get your ticket and the other the validate your parking ticket. Why not do both in each line to keep the line moving and crowd maintained? I just paid for parking in full, there was no way I was making my mother and grandmother stand in another line. It was ridiculous. Then you couldn't use your QR code to scan your ticket once you finally got to the counter, you had to give the confirmation #. Some people's confirmation # wasnt pulling up in their system even though it was visible on their phone with purchase info. They didn't let anyone in if the confirmation # wasn't exactly as they had on their computer. We purchased on Fandango and they had difficulty finding our info as well. I've never had that happen before. Where's the scanner for the QR code? To be honest no one was giving direction or information to make people aware of what they even had to do. We all were passing info along in line because everyone was confused. We didn't know what to do. And not to mention ordering food. I don't even know what line that was. It's just not my type of theater or atmosphere I guess. Sad to say but when it comes to our people running things of this caliber it's usually unorganized and everyone has an attitude. Very unpleasant and chaotic experience. Will not be back.
