Dr. Myriam Defay is a great dentist. We have been her patients for years and we would always recommend her. She is also amazing with kids. She explains to them what is going to happen and asks them to raise their hands if it hurts. She is always very calm. My 12-year-old daughter gets very nervous about her dentist appointments. After her most recent visit she said: "I don't like going to the dentist, but Dr. Defay is very gentle and kind and she makes me feel comfortable. I really like her".

She really is the NO PAIN dentist! I am again floored by my second visit and how pleased I am with the results. Dr. Defay is everything I could hope for. She is kind, empathetic, and excellent at her work. Her love for modern technology is refreshing, because she insists on using only the latest and greatest materials and equipment to ensure that her patients get results they are happy with. I have been to other dentists who don't care, and do unnecessary work to just pocket the money. Not Dr. Defay, she is honest, helpful, and a very good communicator of procedure and cost. I'm so grateful for her services, and for all the great reviews that helped me find his office.

I went to Dr. Defay 2 weeks ago for an emergency appointment because my gums were swollen in between 2 of my teeth and they were able to get me in as a first time patient super quickly. I love that Dr. Defay was super helpful and explained everything out to me and made sure that I would spend the least amount of money out of pocket. I have another appointment in July to get my wisdom teeth pulled and I definitely wouldn't trust anyone else. I'm so glad to have found Dr. Defay because she makes me feel at ease when typically I have a ton of anxiety about going to the dentist. Definitely recommend :)

I've been going to Dr. Defay for over 5 years now, and she's simply the best dentist I've ever known. I'm pretty careful when choosing my medical professionals, and I've found Dr. Defay, to be courteous, kind, and very caring. I've had crowns, fillings, and cleanings by her office, and I've never had any problems. I highly recommend this Dentist if you want a great dentist.

Haha, I actually find it weird that I'm writing a review about a dentist on Google ...but she totally deserves it. I hate the dentist and I hate the fact that it's hard to find a good one EVEN MORE. I'm always one to say that finding a good dentist is probably one of the hardest things in life. So many dentists are really just impatient, harsh, and out to get your money. BUT THEN I FOUND DR. Defay...and I am forever grateful. I recently had a filling break in my back tooth and had originally gone to see a dentist on an emergency about 6 months ago to fix it. She recommended that I needed a root canal and put a temporary filling in. I wasn't sold on the idea of a root canal, so after 6 months of procrastinating I did my research to get a second opinion. And I'm SO glad I did. The minute I saw Dr. Myriam Defay, I felt welcomed. She's personable and talks through everything. I explained my situation and she took a look and lo and behold ... she told me my previous dentist did a slop job. She explained why and told me the next steps he advised to take. She was candid, thorough, and patient. She also gave me a mirror so I could see what she was talking about and told me he gives all her patients mirrors throughout the dental work to have the option of watching (why I would want to do this...idk hahah but it's nice to have that openness). I absolutely loved coming here and I'm SO happy I found Dr. Defay. I no longer dread going to the dentist and I'm happy to have found someone who's honest and caring. If you're looking for a dentist in the area, come here! P.S. kinda tricky finding this place. the entrance is in the back of 3 offices. It’s not the front one. Don’t go to Atwater Family Dental. She’s the Dental office in the far back office. Yes the one that’s super busy, not the empty one.
