Spacious display of fresh exquisite cookies, baklava, etc. Friendly. Comfy seating and self-serve 'American' coffee.....Which is DELICIOUS coffee despite the paper cups/self-serve cart off in a tiny corner of this spacious hall. Well worth the visit. The round flat sesame cookie were Heavenly.

The GLOW of this business include the positive attitude of the ladies at the counter. They are pleasant and try hard to please customers. Another GLOW is that the pastries (warbat, Knafeh, baklava) are incredibly delicious. The GROWS are the following: 1. The coffee machine needs to be cleaned. 2. The water in the coffee pots looked filled in transparent floating crystals. We have pointed this out to one of the service ladies behind the counter. Interestingly, after the water was chucked and replaced, STILL, the new water had floating crystals. My wife and myself began to question whether the water used to bake the pastries is the same water we were looking at in the coffee pots. Is it a water issue, a cleanliness issue, or something else? health services need to investigate this. 3. Etiquette and decorum are missing. We asked for desserts to eat in and we were given our order in ONE small plate instead of two plates. When we asked for another plate, we were given a small plastic plate. This needs to be worked on. When a business invests a ton of money in a new building and facility, they must also invest in etiquette and decorum. 4. Bathroom cleanliness. I give bathrooms ONE STAR. No harm intended to the people. They have great product, but they need to address these issues before they find themselves in trouble with health services, and before they get people disgusted.

They use to be really good years ago. I don't know what changed in the ingredients. If you tasted real middle eastern sweets in the middle east, you can tell the difference.

If you are looking for a good local ethnic bakery, this is it. Friendly and helpful staff. Each item we tried was prepared very well and didn't disappoint my taste buds. Only low spot was the coffee but one of the best bakeries in ethnic Paterson. Come with a group and share a Vasari you of choices and take home what you enjoyed. They went out of their way to explain each offering.

This place is not good. This is no where near Nabilsi knafa. You need to try jacaranda sweets If you want authentic tasting Palestinian sweets in Jerusalem. These people are taking advantage of the lack of good Palestinian pastries offered within this area. Not a fan! Not at all!
