I love the food here. I love the fresh pressed juices. Everything comes in compostable containers. So I'm totally eating clean and not contributing to single use plastics. Favorite lunch spot! Food: 5/5
Best people ever at Naked Lunch. Always so kind and helpful. I don’t know where they pluck these people from but they’re great. And the bowls will last you several days. They have mostly vegan, all organic. The non vegan options are feta, Parmesan and blue cheese. No meat which we are happy about as plant based family. The bowl portions are large enough to split and only $10 where others would charge $15+. They have tacos but unfortunately I can’t have them anymore as they contain chickpeas and I’m not certain that they’re not contaminated with glyphosate so we just skip them now. They have Kombucha, freshly made juices, homemade dressings and soup, and MUFFINS. We used to love the vegan crema dressing but it’s made with aquafaba which comes from chickpea. Any time there’s an issue, which is rare, they rectify it immediately… even offering above and beyond what’s necessary and never with an attitude. They’re just a cool spot and I’m so glad we found them and that we live 5 mins away. Would be great if they had a few actual tables or booths. They have high-tabling along three walls in a u-shape off to the side. I can’t remember but I think it’s higher seating than would be appropriate for kids. Would be great if they had a more chill seating arrangement and some tunes. Would be FANTASTIC if they started offering breakfast. We’d definitely be frequent customers. We haven’t eaten there as dine-in, as we always get to-go and eat at home, but I’m not complaining! You can’t go wrong with Naked Lunch. My picture attached is a make your own bowl with brown rice and green base, tofu cubes, cucumber, sweet potato, marinated hearts of palm, green onion, vegan parmesan, and turmeric ginger dressing with a side of baked yam which husband added miyokos butter. Vegetarian options: No meat, and we love it. They have a great roasted tamari tofu cube side which is GREAT in any standard or make-your-own bowl. Dietary restrictions: Helpful for those of us who don’t want chicken ovulation and cow mammary secretions in all their forms — in everything. Parking: Plentiful parking. Also there’s a separate entrance from MOMs so that you don’t have to walk through the grocery store if you don’t want to but why wouldn’t you want to? Jk.
This place is everything! First off, the grocery store alone has so many healthy alternatives to choose from. The Naked Lunch is a delicious added bonus. I had the sushi bowl and pink lady drink. I got my grandma the stuffed sweet potato meal. The sushi bowl literally tasted just like sushi but fresher and more flavorful! The seaweed added nice flavor to it, as well as the sesame ginger sauce. The pink lady left me energized and alert. The service here was top notch, all the employees were kind and attentive. I can’t wait to go back!
I eat here or the philly location atleast 4 times a week .so.im phucking pissed when I have to have a 10 min conversation on a simple order.kale ceaser split between 3 taco/ wraps ..like how hard is that...and she is going back and forth with me about " building your own " and " 5 item" What!! JUST A PHUCKING KALE CEASER WITH 3 WHEAT WRAPS JEEZ!!!!!! People come for convenience not to be misunderstood from a simple request. I just ordered a pink lady just to have something smh the worst experience I've had here makes me just want to go to greens & grains... the beautiful woman with the locs I'm sure is a nice lady ..but it was a simple order
I've had two different meals here so far, and both were very good. I guess my only semi-gripe would be wanting more sauce. The staff that was present at both visits have been amazing, as well. Vegan and gluten-free, friendly to the max. Vegetarian options: Vegan kitchen with no meat or animal products used. Dietary restrictions: Everything is clearly labeled, and substitutions are available in any item. Parking: Both times I went, there was plenty of available parking close by the entrances.
Although there are several great vegan spots in Philly, I cross the bridge for Naked Lunch. It's my Sunday after-church go-to lunch spot. The buffalo tacos are amazing with a generous amount of heat topped with cooking cilantro. Fantastic! I look forward to Sunday afternoons.
Naked Lunch is one of the most reliable names in vegan food! At this location, I was greeted with a familiar smile and fast service. The food, as always, is incredible. If you ever want a sure thing great vegan meal, hit one of these spots!
What a welcoming, friendly, delightful place with completely affordable organic, veg food. I had the vegan buffalo cauliflower tacos and they were DELICIOUS. The vegan crema and buffalo sauce were so creamy! The 3 tacos were flavorful and gigantic and less than $10! I also had a stunningly delicious fresh juice that we customized on the spot. Seriously, it was so wonderful to have high-quality, fresh, organic, healthy vegan food at a price that many people could afford. Go Naked Lunch, GO!
I love this place! The food is excellent! It is a down home lunch place with counters. I am here for the healthy delicious food. It’s good and good for me. Thank you! Vegetarian options: Lots solar soups either delicious stuff Dietary restrictions: Easy food exchanges and helpful employees Parking: Easy at the door Kid-friendliness: Counters and stools are easy clean up in a casual environment. Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access through the front of the store.
I shop in Mom's Organic Grocery however I never stopped in Naked Lunch before. I tried them for the first time yesterday 3/15/2022, OMG it was so delicious that I returned today & ordered the same exact thing, Jam Yam. I made some alterations it was enough for lunch & dinner. So happy to find an establishment that has a variety of healthy, great tasting, gluten free & plantbase options...So much Gratitude
