We ordered the food here two times, The first time it was very good but the second time It was not as good as the first time. So it seems the taste is not consistently good but it varies based on the number of customers they have at that time. The second time we observed that it was ordered on Sunday and they said they were not expecting that it will be such busy. We saw that they did not paid enough attention to the order. Garlic naan and dal fry was good. Paneer and mixed vegetables gravy was okay but the machurian dragon style which is new flavour they recently started was the worst and very blunt in the taste. Don't ever order this machurian but you can try a normal one instead. UPDATE: another disappointment this time when we ordered four dishes Gobi Manchurian and Gobi chilli where paneer was replaced by Gobi and other two vegetarian curries. Gobi Manchurian and Gobi chilli were the worst and with too much salt. The other two vegetables were kind of okay. Seems like they have a new cook for Chinese food but not entirely sure as they use to prepare good indo Chinese before.
Hands down the best Indian food I’ve ever had. And the customer service is amazing. I can’t say enough good things about this place!
Food and service were great. Our server realized we didn't eat a lot of Indian food and instead walked us through what we should order and it came out great! He made me something not even on the menu and it turned out to be delicious. Be aware though that it's a lot of food and the prices are a little high in my opinion.Food: 5/5
Amazing!!! The chef made me a special dish after I told him what protein and spice level! As a chef myself I am so excited to see passion and love for food just flow from the kitchen. Vanessa had such amazing customer service! The owners Frances, Joe, and Fiona are so friendly and amazing. All in all this place is amazing and I will be back often.
The owner, Francis, was wonderful. He asked us what meats we liked and out spice levels and provided some solid recommendations in addition to a couple things we chose ourselves. I have to say, we loved every single thing we ordered last night. To start, lemon corriander soup and manchow soup. Francis recommended shrimp manchurian as well, this was flavourful and the shrimp was cooked perfectly. I only wish we could have soaked up the extra manchurian sauce with some jasmine rice! For the main, we got Kalimirch goat tender meat, creamy spicy sauce, dal fry maybe the best we've had, one n only tandoori kukkad the extra cook time is worth the wait, it's so juicy!, burnt garlic rice we were almost speechless, this is a new fave, garlic Naan perfect, tandoori roti with butter also perfect. Ordered a mango lassi on the side - tastes freshly made and like real mango! For dessert, we got gulab jamun rabdi sweet, less heavy than the normal gulab jamun with syrup, a nice surprise and kheer nice thick texture with nuts as well, not too sweet, well spiced. We all so impressed by the service, recommendations and the flavors. Because of Francis, we were able to branch out and try new dishes and we enjoyed them all. We will be back again and again!
wow, insanely good Indian food in the woodlands finally!! We ordered 4-5 dishes all were excellent. We just asked the owner to make us his favorites and all were delicious! Highly recommend this place :-
Last time I was here was about 8 month ago. As I always review Indian restaurants by how authentic the basics are, last time I ordered goat curry and it was amazing. Almost like the food we eat at dhaba back home. Today I came there to relive the taste I had last time. The owner had an appointment so he was not there. However the servers arranged an convo for me with him. I had tandoori roti and goat curry. It was very delicious however it was a little too seasoned and also not spicy enough for my desi taste buds. The food is no doubt good though. It is flavorful but just couldn’t get my last taste back. They definitely get a 5 by all means.
The best Indian food we’ve had in Houston!!! This restaurant is authentic Indian, not Indo-Pak like many Houston restaurants. We got the malai kofta, butter chicken, garlic-basil naan, and poori bread. The owners are wonderful and kind people and the service was fast and courteous. Again, the flavor is the best part about this place. The food was the perfect amount of spicy…very flavorful with a kick. Highly recommend!!!
The food was amazing! We had a bit of an issue with attentiveness but given the current climate on staffing, I can't fault them. The owner was amazing. We ordered a lot of food to share as we normally do on our "girls night outs". We loved everything. The food was fantastic, BYOB for drinks was fantastic. Leftovers were amazing. You should totally go.
SO DELICIOUS! Got the Chicken Tikka Masala and the garlic naan. We tried the Lemon coriander with chicken as well! 5/5
