Great burger ! Wings were eh ok. We ordered a few items pulled pork with onion rings, a bacon cheese burger with fries, and some buffalo wings. The prices were reasonable and the spot is a bit of a hole in wall. The Burger was the beat I have tasted in a very long while. The fries and onion rings were tasty and crunchy I will definitely be back and bring my daughter shes such a foodie and this place has burgers that will hit the spot!
This bar is a National Treasure. I admire the owner for preserving this perfect dive bar for New York and the rest of us who get to visit whenever we get the chance. For those reviewers who pick at its flaws, you are missing the point. I can only say it’s eccentricities is what makes the bar so great. When you step in this bar, You have no doubt that you are among friends and like-minded individuals from all walks of life. It’s not for everyone and maybe that’s why I like it so much. I just wish my favorite bartender Kat was still there! And finally, I watched tens of thousands of costumed New Yorkers of all ages parade through the Village last night safely and happily. NYC is still the greatest city! Long may she run!
Stopped by with friends. A cool, chill bar with a trace of history. A place for fun, drinking, not for talk. Surprisingly the baked chicken wings were delicious! And my friend recommended grilled cheese.
I am reluctantly reviewing as I love this pub and don’t want to spoil it great atmosphere in this real soho haunt. Great tunes, shuffleboard, great beers including a very clean and well poured pint of Guinness.
I wanted a spot to watch the Pittsburgh Penguins vs. New York Rangers playoff game while I was in NYC for business. This location was listed as being open late and convenient to my hotel. All I really needed was a cheap spot where I could watch the game and have a beer. It turns out that this location was ideal for that. I was able to secure a seat in a corner despite the interior being extremely full for a Monday night. There are a few TVs inside, so it was simple to select one with a good viewing angle. Given the high volume of patrons, the service was surprisingly speedy with only two bartenders. Can speak to the food but not the food.
I appreciated the space note smelling like puke. Clean spacious and friendly. Alcohol from various parts of the world too, I've been hunting Jack Daniel's Cinnamon fireball Whiskey, for the two weeks I've been here and it's the only stop from 20 that I had that satisfaction of engaging in that crave. If you're in the area check it out, and form your own opinion.
If you want a real Manhattan/NYC bar experience with a nice side of food then this is a joint with soul! Enjoy the low prices and NYC high experience at Nancy Whiskeys! If you want room, space and nice bathrooms then go somewhere else. This bar is %100 New York City!
Real dive bar. I can see the family vibe…just wish the female bartender owner? was nicer. She is a little bit on the rough side…
Amazing place, good music, good vibe and the drinks are cheap!
Last of the Mohicans!!! One of the last standing rustic bars with decent food in Manhattan. The upstairs dining is an experience you can embellish later on.
