My favorite place for pasta! Love their stuffed mushroom appetizer didn’t take a photo and they make the best virgin drinks for younger diners! Everything is a hit!Food: 5/5
Excellent choice. Salad is a little light but still good. Rolls were freshly baked and delicious. Entrees were very generous and tasty. Wife LOVED the marinara.Food: 5/5
This beautiful Italian restaurant in Haymarket -Lincoln is an absolute GEM! Since the minute I walked into the door the staff treated me with outstanding kindness. I wasn’t certain about my sauce preference and they allowed me to taste to my preference. The soup was the best I’ve ever had. All the flavors were very amazing. The salad was fresh and crisp-and surprisingly had a unique home made signature dressing on it, and once again all the flavors and vegetable blend really peaked my pallet. The very tasty warm bread that was just baked was also the beginning to the rest of this amazing experience. Now I dive in—-all the flavors of the things I truly love the most were impeccable. Give this restaurant 10 stars for outstanding. Must come back!! Please try. Also the owner is present, and made me feel at home. Have a great night, and please come give them a try! You will be back!! Thank you for the holiday meal and great experience!! Happy New Year
Picked Napoli's for my birthday lunch. It was a sunny day, so we opted to sit outside. Cam was our server and did a great job of giving us attention and good service without hovering. We started off with crab stuffed mushrooms and enjoyed the rich, crab-filled sauce. Had side salads and I would recommend the house vinaigrette but not the creamy Italian dressing, it was kind of flavorless. The fresh baked bread arrived and it was warm and flaky, good texture, great taste. It didn't even need butter. For entrees, I had the fettuccine Tutto del Mare. It had a lemon forward sauce that highlighted the variety of seafood in the dish. I could only eat about half and took the rest to go- we had so much food! My boyfriend enjoyed the Napolis Special. Very hearty and flavorful with multiple proteins. It was basically the same sauce that came on the mushrooms. We had a lovely experience and will be going back, would recommend. Towards the end of our meal, the chef owner came by and made sure we were enjoying ourselves.
We had ravioli appetizers, tour of Italy entree and Italian crème cake, all shared and it was great!Food: 5/5
I was not happy with the food, except the fried beef raviolis. Those were the only things I really liked. The Alfredo sauce didn't taste creamy, it tasted like pure cheese. There was something off with the soda or the glasses they were in, it had a chemical taste to it. The veal parmigiana did not have the flavor I was expecting, I couldn't even eat the food.
Came here on the spur of a moment for dinner after seeing the pretty lights outside! I really like the aesthetic of the place. Got there around 9:00 p.m., so it was mostly empty. Service was pretty quick. My fiance and I first got the mozzarella sticks to share. They was so nice and crispy on the outside and the cheese pull on the inside of the amazing! Warm and everything. Some pieces have felt like there was too much breading but extra crisp haha. For the main course he got the Chicken Carsoni sauteed chicken with broccoli and mushrooms and pesto cream sauce with spaghetti. That pesto cream sauce was amazing! Really good serving size as well; He barely finished half his plate! Generous amount of chicken there too. I asked for a version of the Dorian's special with garlic white wine sauce to make it healthy. No pasta, extra broccoli and no tomatoes either. This was bad. The sauce was so strong in lemon flavor. I really couldn't eat it. I managed to take the chicken out and wipe down the sauce from the outside, but the broccoli was very much infused with that lemon flavor that it was too strong to eat. I returned the broccoli and asked for extra plain steamed broccoli on the side and had that with the chicken instead. I was surprised that they charged me extra for a side of broccoli on the bill. This is definitely not what I was expecting. The brought fresh bread to the table at the beginning, but I asked to get it until the end because we both love our plain bread towards the end. The bread was really good though! Soft and warm and very addictive haha. I think this place is a hit or miss. Definitely go for the bread though!
The place was clean and inviting the expeditor was friendly and knowledgeable. My Gonis plate was fantastic . The wife's tour of Italy left something to be desired, it was bland as she put it. To me it tasted like valentine's lasagna. The bread and marinara was really good. The fried ravioli was good but lacked filling. Our server.. arrived almost immediately asked what we would like to drink and if we were ready to order? Wow . When we asked what the soup was she said potato with beans. Yet the other 2 servers at the tables around us explained it was potato with bacon and tried to up sell numerous dishes. I'd have ordered more if given the spiel the other tables got. All in all I got what I expected. The wife wanted ITALIAN and was disappointed. But hey it was $65 for an app, 2 entrees a glass of wine a soda and bread. That's a pretty good deal especially in the Haymarket.
I needed some alone time today, so I went to Napoli's in the Haymarket for lunch....OMG-- I have nothing but high praise! This was the BEST meal I've had thus far this year! I had the entire outdoor dining to myself. My server, Allie, was charming and top notch. She was efficient and made me feel comfortable and welcome. The calamari were huge, delicious, and plentiful. Not pictured was a tasty chicken potato soup, light and creamy. The entree just floored me-- Pollo Damabianka with mushrooms in a silky brandy cream sauce over angel hair pasta was divine . Passers-by probably wondered why i was groaning with delight. Oh and the cocktail, a Negroni, was made by my server Allie and she NAILED it-- the best I've ever had. It's a tough cocktail to mix just right, and she did it perfectly. Overall experience 5 out of 5. I shall return there soon
Bread rolls are amazing, food is fantastic , thank you! Their Italian cake is supreme! Highly recommend!Food: 5/5
