Story

Naranja Cafe was first opened in Fry Street, Denton TX in 2004, we moved to Loop 288 in 2007, and moved back to UNT in 2008. The store name came from the Spanish word for orange, "naranja", pronounce as "NA - RAN - HA".

We provide oriental beverages, bubble teas, milk teas, smoothies, ice cream, cold drinks, hot drinks, free internet connection (Wi-Fi), and relaxing environment to our customers.

The atmosphere is nice--it's quiet and they have games to play. However, the tea itself is subpar in my opinion. I love boba tea and this is probably some of the lesser experiences I've had. The tapioca pearls were small and hard, the flavor of the tea was chalky. I asked the guy at the front how he was doing today and he just looked at me and said, "What are you going to get to drink?" I think a better experience is at Kung Fu Tea--the service is better, the tea is better, the atmosphere is better. Bummer it's not closer to campus like Naranja.

Always love a smoothie from here! Used to frequent when I went to UNT and still come back because I enjoy it that much.

Many many flavor options but no snacks. Decently priced. Smells like cookies when you walk in. Would recommend.

Cheaper option than its competition Kung Fu Tea and its nearer UNT too. I used to like it here but then recently their mixes hadnt been good like, theres not too much ice or its too tasteless like it needs more sugar and their chocolate bubble tea tasted grainy once.
