Story

The Nardi family opened Frankie and Johnny’s in 1980 after leaving their city lifestyle in the Bronx as well as the family’s original Frankie and Johnny’s, which is now,
“F & J Pine Restaurant”. As Mama Bastone’s and Mama Nardi’s recipes are passed on through the generations, we continue to bring them from their kitchens in Calabria Italy to serve to you in the Catskill Mountains. Year after year Mary makes her homemade salad dressing, while Johnny is busy in the garden growing herbs and vegetables.
Offering abundant portions, fresh ingredients and homemade recipes in a casual atmosphere, Nardi’s Italian Restaurant has become a staple in dining out in Sullivan County. Featuring Lunch and Dinner seven days a week, a private party room and off premise catering.
