While driving through Texas I saw a sign that said. 
"Ain't no fib about our rib"
I had to find out what that was all about. And trust me when I say, its the best beef brisket I've had in my life. And the meat just falls of those delicious BBQ ribs. I met the owner Mr. Nathan Winkelman and I had to pay my respect to such a good pit BBQ food spot by letting him know "ain't no fib about none of the food there, not just the ribs" he cracked a smile and welcomed me.

Ribs were super fantastic! Brisket was a little bit dry for my tastes but still had fantastic flavor. Not a fan of the sauce, but that's no problem because the meat didn't need any. Definitely will stop in again next time I'm in Brenham!

Stopped by on Tuesday and got the pulled pork. Also picked up one for my wife. I enjoyed mined and she did also. Went back a second time yesterday and got the beef sandwich. There was so much brisket piled on I had to take some off.  This allowed me to eat some without the bread. it was excellent. I also enjoyed the burnt ends he piled on also. 
I will be going back!

Service is great! The following foods are rated on a scale of one to ten, ten being the best. This is based on what I ordered and ate. Chicken-6, it was dry and flavorless but cooked well. Sliced Brisket-5, very dry flavorless, it seemed the it was cooked for to long. Potato chips-10, excellent homemade chips. Coleslaw-7 it was fresh and crunchy but not sweet enough for me, it did have some spiciness to eat but the spiciness and sweet flavor need to be equal for my kinda taste. Atmosphere was darn good and very clean.

Pitiful. Food quality was poor and the service was blatantly rude. 4-5 workers behind the counter ignored me as I stood waiting for service while my food cooled. 
Sausage was mummified, dry, and tasteless. The brisket were strips of fat. 
Their sauce, which I tried to not use, was congealed. It tasted like burnt ketchup. Literally had to take my food to the register and ask if someone could help me and that felt as if I was imposing on the individual that assisted me with the rest of the order. As a consumer and having worked in the food industry, I understand there are factors that contribute to a poor dining experience and they may not be entirely a servers or a restaurants fault-therefore I usually do not write critical reviews and I have certainly had my share of lackluster meals and less than stellar service....but rarely do I feel I my dining experience verged on offensive. 
The diet Dr. Pepper was fine.
The pecan pie was acceptable but as it was pre-packaged.
When I am in Brenham I will not consider eating at this restaurant again. This was my second and last time to enter their establishment.
